  7. Hi TS, hijack your thread a little. Must the salt mix water be aerated? Cos I had just started cycling my tank last Friday and I had pre-mix a tank of salt mix water kept in a covered plastic container.

I am new to chiller, however it works the same as our freezer and air cond system. if the freon (air cond gas) is low in pressure or not enough, your compressor will keep on running till the water temperature has reach the setting only then your compressor will cut out. so i think this is the problem with your old chiller.
  18. Nice setup, however IMHO you should consider to relocate your power source. not very safe to have it just below the tank, if you know what i mean.
