  1. Hi, I am looking for Pocillopora various colours. Please WA me 91817o28 if you have some to let go.
  2. Can only see them pulsing if I turn off the wavemaker.
  3. 20180106_105609[1].mp4 My first try inserting video file hope it works. For your reference Xenia growing at 450mm from my lights (Kessil A360)
  4. IMO 60W of light for a 6 footer is grossly inadequate for corals.
  5. Pulsing Xenia do not travel well and is sensitive to high temperature. So once purchased should head home asap. Especially do not allow temp in bag to go up too much (happens when left too long in bag and exposed to weather), Needless to say you tank should heave a chiller for xenia.
  6. Xenia is photosynthetic so will still require sufficient lighting. 60W is rather low (I assume its a standard 5 x 2 x 2 tank). Unless you place the xenia near the water surface.
  7. Kessil H80 Tuna Flora w/mini gooseneck used for about 6 months letting go at $130. WA me at 91817o28. FCFS no reservations. Collection Clementi area.
  8. 3 sets collected one set reseved. Still have 2 sets left, Collect Saturday after 4pm or Sunday 1 - 4pm. Thanks
  9. Mohawk (6pp +), Fairy Dust (8pp+) and green zoa (4pp+) a pack of 3 frags for $25 only. I have at least 4 packs to clear. Polyps on frags for more than a month and is already growing well. Please WA me on 9181 7o28. FCFS to select the best frags. Photo of one of the sets.
  10. I bought a lampholder c/w the led lamp from one of the shops in Clementi block 328. I think the shop name is LFS.
  11. Sorry took so long to respond. Not sure whether you were asking me because this post not started by me. Anyway if you look at the photos above I used the Kessil H80 and the PAR38 LED grow lamp for my chaeto in two different refugiums. I am achieving better growth with the H80. The PAR lamp had a norrower beam thus the spread was not good unless I raise the lamp higher. I have no experience using daylight LEDs on chaeto. However I use LED daylight lamps and freshwater plant lamps for 3 other refugiums that I have that has macroalgae in them and they are growing well. Hope this answers your question.
  12. Btw what are those two pebble like thingy under the rocks? What fishes did you start off with? and what coral is still alive?
  13. What filter media did you use in your hang on back filter? From the photo I notice the green mark on the hydrometer is below the water level. Looks like your salinity is is too low.
  14. It's not stainless steel. It's aluminium profile.
  15. Please provide more details of your tank otherwise it's difficult to advise. Chaeto normally in the sump. Do you have a sump?
  16. If I am not mistaken. Singapore AVA allow hobbyist 5 pieces of lifestock provided they do not require CITEs (Check AVA website). Most soft coral will qualify. However LPS and SPS will not be allowed. So although you get it through customs does not mean that its ok. If they happen to spot check then good luck to you.
  17. Sorry not selling. Just giving Ingwe an idea of the performance of different refugium lights.
  18. Zoas actually require a decent amount of light. I notice many lfs tend to put it under blue light. Its nice an pops but in the long term they will not survive because there is insufficient light.
  19. Let me share the results of different lights on three of my refugiums. First one uses planted tank light ($30). Middle uses Kessil H80 ($200) and extreme right uses Par38 LED grow ($30) lights. The Par 30 beam is too narrow thus hotspot. The H80 spread out and I set it to grow. You decide.
  20. Btw how long has that piece of zoa been in your tank?
