ok i would try.... but catching this dominant one really make me headache... once i release it to the main tank.... For last time i try to catch this clownfish using the net, but failed therefore do some research from this forum and manage to find the diy fish trap and "bravo" able to catch it. And now i worry that once i released it, and later want to catch back using the same fish trap....this clownfish would not buy the idea anymore..

if thats the case i could only say good luck to this new clownfish......

my existing clownfish and the new clownfish is almost same size is it ok or not? Now what i did is i isolate the new clownfish in those betta tank and the new clownfish in the main tank.... so that they could see each other... but i dont know when then is the right time to release the existing one out from the betta tank. Can anyone suggest? Thanks.

thanks for the quick reply. I did follow the menthod whereby throw the new clownfish into the tank with the existing clownfish... and the existing clownfish chase and bite at this new clownfish till it jump over to the filter comparment behind my tank.... Now i had already quarantine this existing clownfish, but i just want to know when then they consider as pairing up, when then can i move this quarantine clownfish back to the tank?

Hi I would like to check whether LFS does they sell fish trap? For currently I had difficulty in catching one of my Clownfish for I would like to quarrantin this fish as it keep on attacking those new fish n some fish in order to scoops this bib bully even try to commit suicide and jump into my pump n skimmer comparment. Today I just purchase this Salifert test kit to test on the kH and the value is 9.3, is this normal? My PH is 8.0. For in the test kit instruction mention natural seawater is 8.0. Therefore with this reading is it normal for my ph value is 8.0 if not please advise what is the method to do. Thank

Yesterday, I had just bought 2pcs of percular clownfish from ah beng.... The moment i put this two clownfish in my nano tank, my this big clownfish start chasing after my this 2pc of percular clownfish.... This mornig, i realised that this 2 ps of percular clownfish trapped themself at the upper corner of the tank and one of this percular clownfish seems like swimming upside down... and this afternoon when i was back... only left one percular clownfish.... and saw my crab eating the remainings of the clownfish...... Can anyone please advise me what should i do to prevent this big clownfish from attacking the last percular clownfish. thks
