hi guys, I just bought the API saltwater test kit. Comes with whole lot, nitrate, nitrate, ammonia, ph tester type. There isnt any expiry date on it. But i can see some numbering dates of 2008 & 2006 on different bottles~ On an average basis how long can those test kit be kept b4 it expires?

Which skimmer would you recommend for my 12G~? that can be kept under the hood.

Hi Guys, Ive just bought the 12G jbj nanocube. Ive read reviews to ditch the ceramic rings and bioballs that comes with it. What is the best material for replacement of the ceramic rings and bio-balls? Crushed live rocks? Is a skimmer needed for a 12G? Please advice
