  3. Nahh not that high class... Lol it uses a normal powerhead with venturi system. took some time to break in but now its pretty good, though its not a dry skim. no regrets for now. Worth the price in my opinion but of course not to be compared with higher end stuff.
  4. Hey thanks for the reply! yeap it has settled already.
  5. Hi, interested in the coral in ur 2nd pic. Do msg me at 96549151. Thanks.

  7. HI, happen to have any refractometer? Thanks.:)i
  8. Btw ride on thread, do any of u still use supplements after using this salt? Aft thinking that weekly water change of say 10% would top up mineral lost of 10% and normal depletion of the remaining 90% via other means, ie; absorbtion of live stocks and such so not enough minerals. So what i feel is to supplement and dose as instructed by the manufacturers or dose in accordance to remaining amount of 90% of water? What's your views?
  9. Btw ride on thread, do i still need supplements when i checked that levels in the salt is great for coral growth? Hmmm
  10. Hi, i got some of that too. Did u manage to remove it yet? Care to share ur method?
  11. Y934(yishun blk 934 near int) has it in a couple of size. I bought the 7kg bucket at 3 red note plus... Haha btw is it that good? Can share reviews? Lol got other elements in it like dont need supplement...xD

  13. Hi all.. Again another problem... Lol pls forgive me.... Im using dymax xp30 protein skimmer for a couple of days while cycling my tank now. Problem is, there are alot of bubbles releasing from the top vents just beside the air intake knob Water level is below air intake knob as instructed by the manual given. Knob is almost closed, no noise also. Tried putting skimmer above and below what's instructed, tried closing and opening the air intake in gradual amounts also doesnt help. Is it because my skimmer is breaking in and its normal? Videos of people using this show nothing of such problems. How do i rectify or can i just ignore it if it doesnt affect anything? Anyone using this product before and others who solved similar problems pls advice. Thanks all in advance.
  14. Hope this pic helps. yeap their replies did give a clear idea. i have a 5-7 cm depth of sandbed. Planning to keep polyps, mushroom, zoas and soft corals, all gradually and may add more to the sides if i get more corals. Thank u for ur input:) appreciate it.

  16. Lol! Yeaa saw a shop using them. will get it when im more experienced. Wouldn't want to get sth of a higher end but cause problem because of my lack of experience using it efficiently. My main concern is more of how strong is enough and the replies before already sort of cleared my thoughts. Its really hard to decide or use common sense on sth im doing or researching for the first time and with so many different views even at the few popular shops i visited. Some say can, some not strong enough. My common sense at this point is if i got corals in future and they're sway nicely, not too strong, good enough. But im wrong as different corals=different needs. That was why i raised my concerns to see if enough and see if my flowrate would suit most corals or kill them instead and i know how easy it is to stress/kill my sensitive shrimps with strong currents whch made me think. Most places on the internet only tells u that a particular species needs low, med or high flowrate which sparked my questions too abt the flowrate. Hope u understand as im sure u being more experienced, know that insufficient or excess wouldnt be good also, thus that newbie questions of mine.
  17. Thank u all for your inputs! First time using wavemaker so really blur and unsure abt it... Hehe!
  18. Ohh yaaa just so it helps, im using a HOB filter going at 800l/hr. Thats all the flow output i have in the tank. Do suggest or recommend. Thanks!
  19. Hi all! As usual a newbie like will ask questions and so your every input will be appreciated! Here goes, Just gotten a seio 320 with 1200l/hr flowrate for my 2x1x1 feet tank. Im planning to keep lps and soft corals in future with a few fishes. 1) is the flowrate enough? 2) if not what do u all recommend?(dont mind getting another if it does significant differences and efficincy) 3) where exactly do i place it in the tank side?(have to take evaporation into consideration as im using fanso cannot put too high) 4) which direction should it flow to? Diagonal, straight, downwards, upwards or? 5) is it ok to on 24hrs?( saw mixed reviews on google) Thank u for your time and pls do give your answers!
  20. Ahhhh i see! If only i know how to do that... heyy bro, btw what's ur flowrate for the wavemaker u using? Planning to get the same one since urs is 2 feet too... Hehe:)
  21. Are u using a 2 tube one? Really nice lighting! did u use half blue half white and a blue led strip? Trying to get that colour too!
