  1. I think the Cauliflower Colt Coral is a relatively easy coral to care. Give it a try. Place it medium light and flow, but away from other corals as it may sting.
  2. Like Maipian80 mentioned, push your hose all the way in. This to ensure no air is being sucked in. Though this is unlikely the cause of your problem, but just in case. The more likely reason is like what Otaku Reefer mentioned. Due to lost of pressure or pump is set to low flow. What pump (brand/model) are you using? I see that your return hose/pipe outlet is same level as your pump. But what is the height of the chiller, relative to the height of the pump/return? Try troubleshoot like what Otaku mentioned.
  3. Just acclimatize your LS slowly to your QT parameters.
  4. Not able to open your images. What is this .heic file extension?
  5. Do you all keep your QT running empty in between new additions? Or simply shut it down and throw all water? What about the media? Put it into DT and then take out again when need to do another QT?
  6. Not very sure what you meant by "stopped at certain place....". From my understanding, the flow in and out of the chiller is continuous. There is no such matter that water inside chiller is full, causing water to stop flowing in. Any chance you can show your setup? That might help all understand better.
  7. Tank collected. TQ all for the interest.
  8. Bro, for QT, do you run any Bio Media, Skimmer and such? Because with 2 x 20% water change per week, still have 40ppm is quite high, isn't it? Or just plain tank with water?
  9. Location is S(100059) Sorry, have a lot of PM so I will reply PM in sequence of received. One point I left out. The IOS separator panel does not have a hole for return pipe. You would have to run the return over the separator. Can be something like the image below, where I used a “U” pipe.
  10. Decommed and ready to go. 60x40x35 cm, 8mm glass Dunno how much to let go. PM me with offer if interested.
  11. Would like some advice from fellow reefers. I’ve been running a small Upflow Algae Scrubber (UAS) for around a year now, and harvesting algae weekly. All this time been running it 24hrs daily, meaning always running non-stop. Would like to cut down the photo period time. DT lights are on 9am-10pm. Would it be ok to only on the UAS light from 10pm-10am? And while light is on, the pump should still be running, right? TIA for any advice and comments.
  12. My worry is on the concentrated pressure point exerted on the bottom glass.
  13. Who puts Egg Crate below their shallow sand bed? Does it create deadzones and stuck detritus?
  14. Hi, would like to know if anyone ever repaired a clamp shell chip on their aquarium, and how to go about it. Would something like Rain-x Windscreen Repair Kit work?
  15. Can anyone recommend a cheap and reliable tank mover. Thank you.
  16. Anyone giving or selling cheap, a 2ft tank? Either IOS or with External Sump. Suspecting my tank leaking, and want something to standby just in case. TQ.
  17. Mushroom bloom, crowding out my Sunny-D. Need to clean up.
  18. Btw, if stay around west/south area, and not driving, I can deliver after payment made.
  19. It's still available. FCFS or prepay to reserve. TQ.
  20. Flux Rx (90%) - $20 Joe’s Juice (90%) - $20 Light (BNIB) - $10 PM me if interested.
  21. These blue/purple colored mushrooms are going wild in my tank. Wondering if to let them be or cleanup the tank or are they worth selling, to earn some operating funds. Anyone can advice on price for this?
  22. For 1-2 ft tank and no external piping and sump, I think can just move it yourself, with another helping hand.
