Below is the link if you need to know more: http://www.aqua-medic.de/seawater/en/22/spacelight/ I am offering at S$500. Bulb is new just change about 2 mths. Bulb is Aquamedic 250W 10K DE. Serious offer please as I need to make way for my new project very soon.
  2. Phang, from what I know, there are 3 grades : 304 - lowest grade :306 (if I'm not mistaken) :316 (highest grade) 316 grade is almost double of that of 304 grade. Was told that 316 is the least corrosive.
  3. oops.. too fast, just forget my last post. Sorry!
  4. Looks like the scene from Black Hawk Down - right?
  5. What I did was to cut off my CO2 when the light is off bec there is a great chance that your PH in the tank may drop drastically bec of CO2. Had that experience recently bec of my own neglect of not measuring PH at all - drop to 7.6! Aqumedic recommended very strongly of having a PH controller connected to your solenoid - but then again too expensive lah!
  6. Hi Tanzy, The lighting hood - something you DIY or get from somewhere? What is your lighting specs? Thnx

Circulation: 3 x aquabee 1000 litre/hr Well, I'm pushing this "hardware" to the limit for SPS. I don't think this is good enough to grow good colourful acros. At the drawing board for my 5ft. Haven't decided when to go into implementation.
  8. Well, actually those that I took when I first posted was in Jul timeframe. So, I make some changes to make way for more corals. I am interested in trading frag - just trying to find the time to frag. I'm seriously looking into upgrading to 5ft, but must plan very carefully now before going ahead. As for Elegance, it came from Seletar.
  9. Hi Morgan, Frankly, I'm not too pleased with this acro but it is relatively new - less than a month. The colour is not there bec my light I believe is not strong enough. Just hang on for a while b4 I frag this. I have 3 other acros - one is green ponci which I frag it for harlequin. Will take a pic of this. The other two, I'm not sure - one with luminous green tip.
  10. Yes AT, I saw your post on this on the disease. Sorry to hear your case. Yes, I am a clam fanatic, 16 clams in total in this 4ft - could have been 20 had it not been for my bird wrasse which killed 4 of them when they dropped out of the rock. Some of these have been with me for the past 1 year plus, so I have to be careful now. I'm not the craziest. I know one guy who have 60 croceas in his 6ft!!!
  11. yes, it is gold with blue crocea. Light - AB 150W x 2 with actinic. It is a fully stocked after 2 years. so, that is the reason why I want to upgrade to 5ft.
  12. before you get tired of my pics, here's the front view. A little blurry 'cos my hand shake. Not using tripod actually.
  13. more clams... actually I have 15 croceas and 1 maxima
