A general question. If there is a power outage for 8 hours, what are the chances of the fishes surviving the ordeal; making an assumption that there is a battery powered pump providing air bubbles for oxygen. In this scenario, the filteration system is completely cut off.

I know someone who is selling a 6 month old Hailea/Aqua Medic Chiller. Model HL-160CA Any advice what is the maximum I should pay for such a chiller...considering it is second hand. Please advice.

I have decided to setup a tank, keeping mainly colorful fishes. Just wondering if any of these wrasse ( see link ) have been sighted before. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/scateg....=21&pCatId=1378 The common ones are cleaner and six-line wrasse. Any of the others sighted before? If you have an exotic one, perhaps you can post a picture.

Glad some of you like my tank. I have a 1.5ft tank and a clip-on PL light. Not sure why the other "pest anemone" got bleached though. When I bought them, they were all clustered in a single rock. However, soon they started moving all over the tank. Can be a nuisance though. The new additions are apparantly from Tanjong Pinang. They are brown with light green tip. Remind me very much like a torch coral. My pump inlet is covered, hence no chance of them getting sucked by the pump.

I plan on getting a bigger tank and wish to keep a Moorish Idol. Have been told that this is a difficult fish to keep. Can some care to share their experiences keeping this fish? Both positive and negative aspects of keeping this breed is welcomed.
