I see.. Tang are in general agressive between them , if I am you I will not put a chevron tang in last. Unless the chevron is larger than your existing tang or if you have a large tank..your already have 2 agressive tang inside ( sohal and achilles )..

are they difficult to get to feed?
feeding i think not a real issue with tangs in general if you get a healthy specimen
they usually will peck on live rock and rapidily
accept dry food : pellet, mysis shrimp and seaweed..
cheers

Bro Your skimmer fit perfectly your sump you rightWOOHOO! I am back from the dead! If you had been following and wondering what happened to the progress, well... there was none! Until today! Basically, i quit my old job to relax and recharge and look for another job... and that took a little longer than i thought. So I had to put off setting up my tank for the last few months. But now i've started my new job, things can get back on track (financially)! So today I set out on a mission to get my skimmer... aaaaand I wanted a Deltec SC1455. heard only good things. So i went down to the LFS to get it but they didnt have any in stock. Just as I was going to place an order for the Deltec, I was introduced to the Vertex Omega series of skimmers. I was initially scared of looking at Vertex skimmers because I assumed the price was going to be much more insane. But surprisingly it was not! Soooooooo... i went home with my new toy, the Vertex Omega 150! Here's a close look after unboxing and assembly. I must say it was super easy to assemble. Very strong build quality and heavy! Feels solid. Not a big fan of the outside pump but convinced myself that cleaning it down the road it will be easier. Cannot wait to run it!! Especially love how the collection cup is screw-on... no more mess! Here's how it looks like in sump. It super-duper-just-nice fit my sump compartment!
, keep us update how he perform in the future

Bro Your chevron tang nicer at juvenile stageKept mine from juvenile til now, think more than 6mths. Think it is also slowly changing to adult. Greedy eater, feed on pellets and glaze on algae on my LR.right ? I have seen some chevron tang at adult stage not so attractive than juvenile coloration.. Cheers

Bro what is your objective of this qn?1st of all, there is no fixed amount for water change. Also water change depend on how well your bacteria can cope with your bioload. In addition if i keep fishes that are below $50, will I take the trouble to do water change weekly? Ans is no. If good mood, 20% mthly i consider very good liao. Before i decommed, I do 50% weekly for my 6ft fowlr cos i notice by doing that, fishes were more lively and have fast growth rate. Colours were also brighter. Tank size matters too. For a 3ft tank, doing 50% salt doesnt cost as much as doing 50% for a bigger tank. So for smaller tank ppl dont mind changing more water n more often to a bigger tank.
Hi bro,
Thanks for your advice
I understand your point of view

Noted bro..I give 2 week of copper treatment for any new fish addition (fish smaller than 6" will b QT)..
Seems like you finally use cupramine
after the 2 weeks of treatment change water and try to add 1-2
fishes to test water just in case

I am using D-D H2Ocean Pro formula
-
For a FOWLR tank how many times your guys change your water ? Weekly , bi-weekly or monthly ?
I personally did a 30-35% per week advice given by some expert reefers...some reefers change 50% per week for heavy bioload..

Yes, The Emperor is super tame and you can touch her. I handfeed her daily. But big bully among the rest of the Angel. She will chase the rest away when come to feeding. or She will park herself right infront and the rest all waiting below .....haha...
Thought of uploading video to see how bullish she is? Is it the same method as uploading photos?
Meanwhile, I will slowly reduced the Copper content via partial water change.
One curious question : Does our Skimmer skim or reduce Copper because when I add copper the next day the skimmate contain some blue coloring.
Seems to be coming from the copper. Anyway, I will measure my Copper content to confirm.
Hi tony ,
Yes it s the same process for the video
yes the skimmer will reduce the copper....to make sure test daily..
Cheers
