  1. I have tanks in balcony but shaded from the westerly sun in case of algae problems. No issues so far.
  2. Did you say you want to put the tank in the balcony where it will get sunlight? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  3. Ok now your 6 commando clown fishes can join in the passing out parade. Cheers!
  4. Haha. Almost fell off my chair. Seriously bro, at first I thought it was a weighing machine scale.
  5. NIce fishes. Bro, where are your 6 commando clown fishes? What's the white thing hanging at the far top left?
  6. Sorry for your loss. Don't think it's good. IMHO, it's better to quarantine your fishes now and leave the tank fish-less for the next 12 weeks. If you don't follow strict quarantine protocol, it might happen again.
  7. Nice light set. Hope to see your tank once it's stock up. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  8. Diaso glue can use for small frags or repairs. Large use too liquid. Bsi is better here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  9. Good plan. Waiting for your upgrades.
  10. Thanks.. Actually, your hp is much better than my iPhone pics. But should get a PnS if you want to take fishes as they can be fast swimming. Please lah. Got money to reef, no money to buy a PnS camera? I got one free piece of Green Monti from a purchase yesterday. You can view it (using a PnS) at:
  11. Thanks bro. Just to share an update, got this huge piece of Green Monti (FOC) from a friendly reefer yesterday.... suppose to have some blue at it's rims.
  12. It's 12v 3A. It's the current that kills not the voltage. The adapter is pretty well regulated already. You can also pay more for a better regulated power supply if you want to use the LED for the next 50000 hours? Some strips have Zener voltage regulators on them hence ensuring a constant current to your LEDs. No worries.
  13. A quick estimate would be about 1.5A per meter of LED strip. If you are using about 2 meters for a 6 ft tank, get a 3A adapter which they sell and plug and play. They can help you solder if you don't know. Must importantly you need a good heat sink or they will burn out in no time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  14. IMO, with sand nicer lah. Need a bit more work though but worth it.
  15. Any photo of the tank with the green monti? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

  17. Nice and spacious. You used fish eye lens? The wave makers look under powered for your tall tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
