  1. Where can I get Octozin or similar product from AquaPharm ? Hope LFS is near my working place in Tampines/Changi area or near home in Katong. My three blue tang infected with white spots/itch. Help please. Thanks a zillion.
  2. i think we should at least use the "My Assistant" and "View New Posts" facilities more often. speed is important especially when you need to move around much. it is very frustrating when encountering slow surfing. also, i assume AT has already done his research and hence his decision to do away with the most active threads section.
  3. Try Ang Lee Aquarium Trading at Blk 114, Ang Mo Kio AVe 4, #01-361. Tel: 64523032
  4. Have u ever seen a reef tank that dull !! Please add more colours to it. Prefer the old/previous layout and colours.
  5. trader_best, check out this thread about overflow and flooding ... http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...topic=12768&hl= hope it is helpful and allay your fears.
  6. typrobin, i am in the same predicament. i will not be around for about three weeks to read this thread. i am going on holiday, lost in the woods without internet. so, please do a favour, PM me on your final decision, as i may follow you. thanks.
  7. don't think you need to drill a hole. as long as your intermediate dividing glass panel is lower, then water will flow from one compartment to the next. my two cents ...
  8. great contribution, fecgoh when i am into corals, will try to remember this thread. btw, is the SCWD suppose to do the same thing ? just asking, as i am not sure, but remember reading about creating random waves.
  9. weileong, assuming all things being equal, if the chiller cuts in and out too frequently, and lets say the flow rate is the cause, please advise what is the effect on the cut-in and cut-out effect if : 1. using a pump with a high flow rate ? 2. using a pump with a low flow rate ? please let us have your advice. thanks.
  10. u lucky man, kick in between one to three hours. how you managed that ? like i said, mine is about every fifteen minutes. i don't use MH. are the inlet hose and outlet hose inside the tank close to each other ? wonder this makes a difference.
  11. if not in Singapore, how about USA or Canada. me going to Canada, via USA, next week.
  12. i am also using a Resun CL450 with two degrees differential. unfortunately it seems to kick in within twenty minutes between each cycle, that is, from one kick in to the next. any advice why it kicks in so frequently, as compared to lesjack's one hour interval ?? main tank temperature before using chiller range from 30 to 31 degrees.
  13. after a night of hard work, it's most practical to wash up ... ... and cool off
  14. hey, i am over 50 years young !!! so, as of now, i am the most senior .... over the hill liao
  15. bought 2nd pajama cardinalfish last week to keep 1st pajama company. however, 2nd developed white spots from third day. 1st kept itself busy by nibbing or pecking at the 2nd. this evening, fifth day, returned from work to see 2nd without any more white spots. hope both will survive. is nibbing or pecking normal for cardinals to help each other get rid of white spots ?
  16. yeah, added a doctor fish and only get to see for about five minutes. almost a week now, still no sign of it. can i resign to the fact that it has died and body concealed somewhere amongst the rocks ? sorry hwcheong, stole your thread, but thought we can share some experience and grief here ....
  17. i have two shrimps that went MIA for many days. only recently get to catch a glimpse of their legs. honestly, we are in the some sort of same predicament .... first, testing of our patience and anxiety .... second, what the heck can we do if they don't show up anywhere at all ????
  18. Thanks Vincent, but when trying to logon to www.famaquarium.com got a message that it is a bad gateway. Help please. Thanks.
  19. yeah, these wave2k folks are in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Their prices are in USDollar. IMHO, i would suggest you go with the Eden 228 which i am also using. best wishes friend.
  20. get down from cloud9 my friend. did you click on the link to wave2k before asking for the price range ? personally, if someone make the effort to direct me to some more info, i would have read it first, at least the basic information, in this case, the pricing. you have a relatively small 2 feet cube. do you want to spend some US$200 for a wavemaker ? i have a 3 x 2 x 1.5 main tank and am using an eden wavemaker costing about Sing$40 if i were you, make a decision and get on with it. sorry if i sound harse, just my humble opinion.
  21. hello, anybody home? so many weeks already, no sound no picture. any update, boss ?
  22. your situation, or at least closely similar, was discussed in this below thread: http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...topic=12768&hl= personally, i have a hole drilled on the return pip below the water level as discussed. trust me, it works.
  23. you just got a resun cl650 which I believe is less than 1 HP. you hardly started, so why are you asking about a 1hp chiller ? too much time and money izzit
  24. seamonkee said "God has been kind". flubberina13 said "God bless". I says, Thanks and Glory to God.
