    You can use that but that is usually for desk top testing.

    You can get a smaller version of constant current power supply unit

    for under S$50

    I will PM you the number of LED you need assuming you want 20k

    light color.

    Hi bro sherman,

    I think what I need is only the LEDs.

    can I check for your 1ftx1ftx1ft tank, you are using 4W LED or 1Watt?

    My tank size is 24ft x 14ft x 16ft ht . Effective tank area or lighted area is 19ft x 14ft.

    I have a 20yrs DC constant driver built by my father and he said that the gadget can regulate the current as per the required by the LED. I think 24V 2.5A is not an issue. How many of this kind constant driver do I need?

    also have aluminum plate .

    What is your tank size?

    Post #330 is for 1 ft by 1ft by 1 ft tank only

    For constant current driver I still do not have them manufacture as yet

    due to some technical issue with this new chip.

    What DC adaptor you have 24 v 2.5 A or what?

    And how many pieces

    Do you need aluminium mounting plate also?

    And do you have a light casing to mount the whole assembly?

    Lastly you just want all the parts or you want me to DIY the whole set

    for you

    can you PM me the total cost of the LEDs and the constant drivers for the set up that you are doing now.

    As for the DC, pls advise what configuration. I have many DC from laptops etc that I can use.

    I intent to place order with you by this week.

    As all my friends still on leave cannot get any help.

    So do all the drilling and tapping myself.

    Not easy job especially the hole is only M2 size.

    Sorry for the late reply.Was a bit busy last few days so miss all the message and email

    You do not connect the wall socket to your LED.It will blow off unless you are using AC LED.

    You need a LED power supply or a DC adaptor with constant current driver to drive any LED.
