Hi ... Want to gather some feedback.. I am thinking of upgrading my tank (currently 3x2x2)... without having to replace all my existing equipment again... Currently I am using 2 x 250w MH (normal individual pendant type) over my 3 footer.. without T5s So how big a tank dimension can i upgrade using back the same lights? I am keeping SPS & LPS ... 4x2x2 ? 3x3x2 ? 3x3x3 ? ... Any SPS tank using 2x250w MH that is bigger than 3x2x2 .. please advice? Thanks for your input... CHEERS!

is it safe to have Rio32 outside? not sure will there be overheating or not cos' i wanted to host mine out sump but scared.

looking at your parameters from your signature you should be able to start SPS. (maybe a bit more attention on your water quality... eg: mg, PO4, etc) and you got the basic equipments also. What I think you probably started on the wrong foot.. IMO birdnest are not for beginners, it need high lights and good flow. I suggest you try out some of the easier SPS... eg: digitata, montipora cap. Look out for reefers selling these SPS frags and try them out. Over time you will gain experience and knowledge (maybe equipment upgrade along the way .. ) by then you may want to try other SPSs. CHEERS!

Hi everyone, I have recently bought over a 2nd hand CO2 tank, lately i noticed that the tank pressure gauge indicating 50 kg/cm2... so now i wonder: What should be the reading of the tank pressure then I need to refill my CO2 tank? Also, what should the correct reading on the working pressure gauge? Need help urgently cos' if i need to send my tank for refill I need to stop my CR and also hunt for a LFS that provide refilling service... CO2 tank owner please advise ... ______ Rocks

Hi Ian, How does dolomite being deployed in a CA reactor? just place it at the top or bottom layer of the CA media? and let the CO2 react with the dolomite? Do you have good info on dolimite application I would like to read about it? Thanks ! CHEERS! Rocks
