  1. Need to restart my tank with clean water as the tank crashed due to algae bloom. I need to let go of all my fishes before they die, as it would take me at least a few weeks to restart the whole tank again. I'm letting go all the fishes for $30. Collection at Marsiling. Pls help! Tks.
  2. I have a blue cheek goby. It has always been alone from day one and so far so good. about 5 months already. But ya, it likes to spit sand all over the place. Your rocks will turn white.
  3. Ya I like the idea too. But if I were to add in this 'wall' that means I have to remove the rocks as some of them are resting right at the back...
  4. I couldn't remember the shops around it, but it is right at the end in a secluded corner. If you are lazy to walk you might just miss it. I'll try to post a pic soon. DC not with me.
  5. ya, it appears to be a foam wall. or maybe its one of those backgrounds that has been painted over with plaster and they pile the plaster up to add depth and dimension. Not sure if plaster is safe for the water though.
  6. I think either tank is fine. What is impt. is for you to know yourself and allow your back to rest after every 15 mins or so and not to overly exert yourself (even if you feel like you could carry on). What that it should be alright for you to continue your marine hobby. Cheers!
  7. apply bonjela. (alright I'm kidding) But seriously, how do you know its an ulcer? I though ulcers are usually found inside the body and not visible on the outside? Just a thought...
  8. I got the above timer at Northpoint DIY shop. Its at the basement. It is a good timer with all the basic functions. Very well made, unlike those shabby timers sold outside. Best of all, its digital and the price is really reasonable. I have tried looking around but nothing beats the ease of look, use and price for this timer. So for those looking for a digital timer I would recommend this. (I am in no way affiliated. Just letting you guys know a good product that's value for money) Plsss don't slam me if you don't like what you read hor...
  9. I'm looking at SPS, acros. I wouldn't mind jewel and some nice colored zoos too.
  10. If you tried but the scratch remains there, you may been chipped the glass. In that case, you really can't do anything about it. If you would like, try those DIY stores and ask them. They really have LOTS of stuff you can use for aquariums and maintenance.
  11. Thanks guys! Wah, sounds like alot of you have been to Israel. My dad's leading a tour there so I'm just tagging along. Hee.. I hope I don't need body armour though. I'll be bringing my laptop over so no probs with the pictures. Just download and shoot more. for all the invaluable advices!
  12. I still have those tiny bubbles even though I have been running it for weeks. But the amount of bubbles do get lesser after a run in, as compared to when you just switched it on.
  13. As above. I would like to buy them. Hopefully not to big. About fist size or smaller would be ideal as my tank is not very big. Tks!
  14. Haha! The bomb that went off 6 hours ago in Tel Aviv is just 200M away from my tour guide's home. So.. hmm.. sounds dangerous...
  15. You have a very clear tank with a clean slant of glass. how did you managed to achieve that clean look without algae growing on it? Your corals look so good! where did you buy your sun coral? you may drop me a pm. i am also interested if you are gonna frag one of those STN corals. Cheers.
  16. ya, i'm interested too. maybe can I have a frag? Just one would do...
  17. This is a tank I wouldn't mind throwing my money down on! Its absolutely fabulous!
  18. Do you have sufficient lighting for your tank? Also, if the fishes are stressed they tend to turn a darker colour.
  19. A blue cheek goby. Hehe.. you may get white 'snow' falling though.
