  1. thanks to both lightningstrike and typrobin i know i should not leave it to nature but..... dare not distrupt the live rocks, afraid that i might crush my crab which is a good cleaner of my tank. also the greater fear is to touch the worm-like thing... disgusting leh.. ai yah..... guess i have to gather all my courage to touch that piece of rock u have helped me to make up my mind . i will get a real thick glove first.
  2. will trigger kill the amantis shrimp or should i remove the LR it is hiding? just saw a mantis shrimp in my tank about 2 cm long. what a shock i got! wondering if it is responsible for the death of my longhorned cowfish
  3. although many have said it. but i can't help it --- please see a doc gosh.. this is bad. bro moron clown and bubble gum - hope your finger heal soon. please keep us posted. thanks.
  4. bro piglet thanks for the attached info. hope more reefers will see this link.
  5. i have three of this for about 2 months. they are fine as long as my fish leave it alone. i have one more but it was torn up by dunno which fish.
  6. digusting but really funny. cheer me up though
  7. sorry, i always lump the cowfish and boxfish together. i am sure it died after the injury. the only predator is my picasso trigger but it has never attacked any of my fish. in fact, it is more afraid of the cowfish. wonder if this is the right place to discuss this. i better don't carry on. thanks anyway.
  8. hi i had a longhorned cowfish for three weeks and was secretly happy that it had survived and feeding well. it had also recovered from ick about a week prior to its death two days ago because one of its hind 'horn' broke off. that was a horrible sight. till now, i still don't understand the cause of the broken horn. anyone has the same experience? i love cowfish a lot and won't keep another until i find the cause. please let me know what u think is the reason, any reason. thanks
  9. sorry abt your lost. thanks for posting so we will be careful too.
  10. wow... so blessed to see this. hope they survive

  14. can't help it any more. but fantastic photos. you a professional?
  15. hi huanjie is it good for snorkelling?
  16. no need to worry, mine also like that and it has been with me for three months liao
  17. aiyo sorry sorry see wrongly. thought you referring to yellow tang instead of boxfish btw, your picasso quite big hor. mine is only about 6 cm.
  18. yo bro, how big is your picasso? why don't u get a YT that is about the same size. I introduced my YT first. Picasso was added about one month later and it was about the same size as my YT but bigger than the rest of my nemos and BT. My Picasso is a good boy, no trouble with the rest. actually I was quite scared when i let it into the tank and had my fingers crossed... Last week just added the longhorned cowfish, never see Picasso chasing the cow. maybe it is afraid of the horns. let see what other reefers advise about adding a baby YT into your tank. Pardon my ignorant, does trigger emit poison?
  19. hey i also have a picasso trigger. it is exactly as u guys have described. it bit me once when i was handfeeding the fish. i got a shock and never handfeed them any more. always pray hard when i have to put my hand into the tank to feed my sebaes and bulb tip anemones. the trigger always snatched food from my small sebae nevertheless, it is really an interesting fish to keep. it is rather friendly with my clowns, BT and YT. especially YT, they even share a cave for the first few nights and I wonder if either one of them have identity crisis as for trigger and lion fish, I have posted this question before. other reefer bros have advised me against keeping both as trigger will nip at the fin of lion fish. Now So I bought a cowhorn box fish instead. so far so good.
  20. just chat with friend in New York. Storm hit there. Strong wind and very heavy rain. not too bad though.
  21. what titles are you referring to? I can give you if I happen to have any.
  22. i bought my yellow tang about 2 months back. it is down with ich but compared to my PBT (rip already) and blue tang, it's case was quite mild. my YT is a curious and overly friendly fellow. It loves escorting new fish round the tank which added to their stress this busy body even share a cave for a few nights with my picasso trigger when the latter was introduced into my tank. guess mine is a good natured one. it is also my favourite. It never bullied my baby blue tang which was one third its size when I put the baby BT into my tank. this baby is as big as the YT now. the trio (YT, BT and Picasso) are good friends
  23. yo bro GB, can understand your pain. Don't give up. jia yu, jia yu
