Hi Guys, Noticed the original Royal Blue LEDs have turned brown when it is switched off. Understand that means they are burnt. I'm thinking of replacing them with better LEDs like Cree from www.ledgroupbuy.com or www.aquastyle.com, etc.. However, it requires soldering wires with the molex connector. 1) Can anyone advise where I could buy similar size molex connector that Maxspect uses? 2) Also, does anyone know the forward voltage and current that Maxspect G2 drivers used on the 3w LEDs? Your system does not have sufficient nutrient exporting means without a skimmer and only water change 2-3 weeks frequency. You should focus in: 1. getting an efficient nutrient exporting mechanism, be it efficient skimmer, zeovit/prodibio/biopellet, big sump with mangroves/DBS, weekly water change, etc... 2. maintaining stable parameter, esp. Ca, KH, and Mg. Would suggest 2 part solutions dosed with a dosing machine. Depending on tank size, but suggest start with minus 20% of dosage if tank is lightly stocked. 3. good flow. 4. good lighting. You should get very good result with above without need of trace elements.

There are other SPS tanks locally that is doing fine with much cheaper LED lighting too. No need to look so far.

Very few nudibranch can be kept in captive due to each species' each specific algae/sponge diet. While they are beautiful, would advise against keeping them.

Prefer something like this so as not to extend the length. Bought the Swirl Maxflow Plus eductor from Fish street, and did not realise that the inlet is 1/2inch while my outlet is 3/4inch. Currently using teflon tape as temporally solution but would like to use a reducer in the long run. Checked with RD but they are out of stock on the VDL reducers and had no idea when they will replenish stock. Appreciate advice!

Be honest not good enough for reef unless supplemented by T5s. * even good for DIY if you could figure out how to reduce heat if installing 3W LEDS since controller in good conditions. * simulates/gradual dawn/dusk effect.
