oooh...talk about transformers...heh heh...I just bought Masterpiece Optimus Prime...all 12inches of him...

Hi Bum, busy with work, shifting house, shifting tank, planning for a dive trip to Manado, among other things..heehee.. so only recently then started surfing by src again...but been keeping a lower profile.. ..afraid of getting flamed..

My yellow one: You'll notice some dead spot at the bottom right, but it was worse when I got it, cos the reefer I got it from actually put this guy on the sand, and where the flesh was on the sand the polyps had died. After I got it, regular feeding saw the flesh starting to grow back on the previously dead areas. The small orange polyps you see are new. Dunno why instead of growing down into the unpopulated areas, they're growing into the yellow territory...

Dunno about you guys, but both my suns always open at night, or when the lights dim or are off. I feed with mysis regularly. Each polyp I will give as much as they will take, or until I run out of servings haha. If I want to feed at a time other than the regular time, I use the 'juice' from the defrosted mysis and just pour some of that into the water. They open in about 10min. My largest polyp when fully open is about 1.5cm..smallest polyps which were never there before (and very cute) are about 1mm

my gf used to complain that I never do anything for her on VD...but that's only one side of the story.. after being with me for awhile, she stopped complaining. I hope it's cos I cook for her on a regular basis , buy a flower when I pass by the occasional flower shop , write her the occasional card just because or give her a BIG hug when she's not expecting it . I have never been able to subscribe to the notion that there must be a particular day that we put aside to show our affection the the person most important to our lives, and doesn't just mean our life partners...it can be our parents/siblings/friends. I think it takes more than just a fancy dinner or a piece of glorified carbon to show your love. It's not just always about money. And I feel the idea is not to get so caught up in everyday living that you lose sight of the people that play such a big part in your life. and if you absolutely HAVE to do something 'special' for that day, I would do something away from the routine. I mean, if you have a restaurant dinner once every fortnight already, what's the point of doing that on VD? If you cook regularly, no point cooking on VD right? so I guess it really depends on what is your routine. I, for one, can't be too bothered about what to do on VD... ...I've been planning chocolate fondue and strawberries for the longest time, but trying to find the time for it, though. heehee..

hmm..I'm not too sure if it's the 12 blade type...I never bothered to look. I personally don't find it all that noisy actually, but my mom did...so here I am selling it off lor. I figure you can use it on a tank with eurobracing, but it really depends on the width of your eurobracing. I didn't make any measurements to determine what's the limit of eurobracing that will allow a prizm to fit, but if you give me a width I can go home tonight to see if it does (agaration, of course ) Currently, the prizm is being reserved till the end of the day by someone. He's saying he'll let me know by tonight if he wants. If not, it'll be back up for grabs again. I'll update tonight whether it's still available or not. Keep up the enquiries, though. Anyone can join the queue first in case the person in front of them decides to back out. I'm just sorry I can't take pictures as my cam is down.

Selling for $75...got it second hand, now selling as third hand. When I got it second hand, if I remember correctly, it was used for only a few months. During the time I had it, I used it only a handful of times, then cleaned and kept it already, never used it since. Anyone interested?

Last I read, the brothers aren't doing anymore movies regarding the matrix. The story will continue in an MMORPG. Generally, I thought revolutions was better than reloaded, which SUCKED big time. So many characters introduced, but don't really mean/do anything to advance the storyline. Twins/Persephone/Architect...they're just there, well, because the brothers could put them there for the heck of it cos they're 'cool'. my 2cts

hey I was just wondering the other day about hamsters as well...how do you take care of the smells? I was wondering if it's possible to layer activated carbon somewhere to absorb weird smells...does anyone do that?

I use the twinjets too... VERY nice to use. I haven't gone up against a strong current yet, so I wouldn't know how it fares in that kind of situation. So far light current still no sweat.
