  2. Hi Ange... Sigh...thats another thing which ya fren should not try!!! Diff to keep alive and u need a big tank (even then...it prob die still). Its swims/ dance in the water u koe? I had one sometime back...managed to keep it alive for a mth only...dun really koe wat it eats...despite having quite a variety of diff sponges in my tank. One fine day it juz disappeared and I assume it is dead. Ps* Poisionous when dead...doubt a 1 feet can handle it. I bet ya fren will love nudibranchs too...those purple/pink/yellow slugs...and she will prob fall in love wif sea apples....sea horses... Ya fren seems to have the same taste as me! And oh...those that i mentioned above...r all not for the beginner & some not for the expert either. Somehow I have a feeling that ya fren most prob go ahead n try it anyway.
  3. Tango... A 1 feet seahorse tank? Quite cruel leh...even the jars in medical shops used to store dried seahorse are more than one feet... Think once...think twice...think aga|n.

  5. A tank full of floating plastic bags? On a more serious note...how about sth easier to start wif...say a tank of common clownfishes? Can be quite pretty & definitely much easier & possible as compared to jello.

  7. Hi M... Prob too small of a tank- too many fishies- too many fights- too many injuries- disease outbreak = wipe out in 6mths. If its another 1 feet tank u r thinking of getting....truthfully i think u should give up the idea. I've seen Luohans in 1 feet tanks before...wats ya take on it? Juz kiDD|n
  8. Marine hobby involves lots of time (much more than fresh water)...and $$ too....read up more b4 deciding to take up the hobby/ buy tank.
  9. Hi A... 2 feet is okie though some may feel its a little small. Height...the taller the better for seahorses....to mate...etc. Air bubble filter? Not too sure wats that...but generally no air bubbles in seahorse tanks pls...will cos gas bloating in the males! And ps...if u r a beginner...pls pls read up more...sea horses r real beautiful n mystifying but diff for the beginner! Below links may help : http://www.seahorse.org/ http://www.seahorses.de/

  16. X'mas trees have porites as host and the latter requires stronger light to survive. U can feed ya anemone wif small prawns, torches may take its too...can also try feeding brine shrimp & mysis shrimps...mine eat such stuff....I feed them twice a week.
  17. Hi TS... Spikey orange is quite hardy...I keep my sponges alive n growing wif Spray dried plankton...so far so good. Keep them where currents r stronger to prevent algae from growing.

  19. Hey TTBoy... I have a lvery ight yellowish prata...but it is not doing well at all. I have a big feeling that colours had been added into it. Is there a white prata? Or has it expelled its zoo? I have seen such cases in white clams b4.
  20. Let us juz do wat a 'politically rite' forum should do - share all relevant info. Let us allow wat CITES has to do - protect our reefs! Let us see how resourceful our LFS are - wriggle & survive/ die Let us pay the price - we all koe its an expensive hobby Let us all be responsible.
