  1. Its HK u koe? Shopper's paradise...I believe ya wifey will be too busy shopping for her own stuff to realize "hey...tat piece of equip...looks a little out of place..."
  2. Given most of our tank conditions I doubt they will grow as well as in the wild and prob nvr reach their max. wild size. But from personal experience, I noticed that my clown seems to have the fastest growth rate as compared to my other fishes (tangs, angels, dotty etc) Percula clowns r not too aggressive when compared to its other family members (Maroon, tomato etc)...however, they may attack ya resident clown if u have one.
  3. Small fishes..gobies, clowns those that r not too boistorous & aggressive. Ps* Or an invertebrate tank like shrimps, hermit crabs, lobster etc? If u could...maybe consider a bigger tank?
  4. Hi thanantosis... Seahorses r beautiful but pls...do read up on them first b4 keeping them. They r not usually recommended for the beginner and its diff getting them to eat frozen mysis unless u r willing to have a ready pool of FW shrimps? And dun buy too many (if its ya first time at it!) http://www.seahorse.org/ http://www.seahorses.de/
  5. Tks CT! It was a nice refreshment 4 me since the last time I went there earlier this yr. The sea-dragons r so pretty! & I agree wif u Ong!
  6. The fanning is actually to catch its food particles.
  7. Tks both. Firm inflexible guy...yucks. I find Pat not too bad of a person. 100K for the biz? Hmmm...
  8. I guess the pratas jello acts as a dessert while the clams an appetizer? I stick|n to my usual seafood fare
  9. Wow CT! U managed to bring them in? V. brave...damn...I wanted to smuggle a snake once from TW...but kinda chickened out at the last min... U have inspired me...heheheee...shall head ya way...the next time round.
  10. Is the prizm too 'strong' for a 2 feet tank? As in the 'waves' that it admits?
  11. They can be trained to eat such disgusting things.
  12. Yup...shop still there....change owners....His share is down to 10%... He told me he is gg into equipment. Wonder wat the new 'kid' will be like?
  13. Pat from HL has also sold his shop to someone... B-O-R-ing.
  14. Hi Mv3i... HK LFS are quite cool...though most have really cramp up storage places (bad for the fishes)...but they do have nice stuff/ species which we hardly find in SG.... I remembered I was quite fascinated by all the marine LFS being congregated in one area.... Makes shopping n comparing of Live stock real easy....
  15. Derf...u have $60? Get her to act out ya fantasies... Juz kidd|n
  16. I seriously doubt its captive bred prob some mkting gimmick... I think its merely mysis eating SHs...thats all.
  17. Hi SH... I have that coral too..it stays 'active' unless i shift its position. At night, when the coral polyps retracts...u may wanna check for any rotting parts.
  18. I hope u did not get your marine advice from Chan? Juz Kidd|n Actually...2 x 36 watts PL should be enuff for anemones. And not all anemones require strong lights. When I first started out this hobby...I kept my first rose under such lighting and they were no recorded problems. Hmmm...
  19. Oh boy.... *Dun koe how true this is...but I once heard from Kenny (ReefWorld) that mushrooms dun like too much calcium? So far I did not encounter this prob though
  20. So beautiful...! If only we had access to such clams.
  21. Banish the bully!!! Allow ya clown some time b4 getting use to the anemone. From my experience...clowns dun go str8 to their anemones upon introduction.
  22. I believe its the p-guard... I am also using it....
  23. Nope...its way too diff for a hobbyist to breed the cleaner shrimp.
