Have tired XDII O2 before and i feel that the phone is a good pda phone but lousy as 1 single batt could not last 1 day.
As well as phone hangs always due to os systems.

But these T5 are great as working lights in the sump cabinet .
Some of these could act as moonlight if the tube could be change into a blue tube..
And Ozy is very right about using it in your sump area as they are very compact in size.

Try to soak items like pumps, power head in a mild vinger solution to remove calcium deposits.

There are still brands like - AquaLight , ATI , D&D, Incoming New Macro range, ELOS, Aquamarine moonlight, DE Lighting, Aquaconnect, Aquamedic.
I feel that there is no such thing as best systems, as it depends on your tank setup, corals you intend to keep, space given, after sales product support and lastly your budget.
The best systems will come when you are paying with your arm and legs
Not forgetting brands like raindow, dymax and jbl also offer good T5 systems.

You could try to change the wooden airstone to better brands like redsea and a more powerful air pump. It will give you very thick skim mate too

Great timer and i was told it was build for heavy industry used.. So no more worries on timer burning up when used with MH lamps.
