dun worry e main circuit breaker is designed to trip before any fire out break. unless urs is faulty. fan is not problem also, it'll breakdown before it catches fire. the only problem is plugs. get those approved plug with the sticker. dun buy those cheap cheap multi plug, although fire is not possible, it may damage ur equipment. i got a cheap multi plug that get too hot and melts with my timer and plug. though no fire, the smell is terrible.

wah phang u feed ur mantis turbo snails ar? like dat will cost a bomb leh, some more shell everywhere. why not just feed market prawn?

Welcome to the mantis club! actually a lot of hobbyist are attracted to mantis shrimp, only when they learnt that they are not friendly dat turn them off. But one thing that is unusual, they are stress free! so, they can be used as a beginner's pet to crustacean keeping ... i mean in terms of hardiness. dun ever let it wack ur finger...especially ur middle finger.

come to think of it, i agree it does look fake. dun think mantis shrimp can grow to that size. maybe somewhere near nuclear dump side u get this big species.

then i guess u guys love it because of its..... taste. dun eat them lah, eat crab can already. but sure any species can eat meh? looks poisonous to me, so colorful.

hi all, I just spent some money to buy a reef keeper's nightmare... a mantis shrimp! It is a smasher...or spearer? (gotta check again) and i think it is simply beautiful, like a peacock. very hardy, but a bit dangerous, hope it'll not smash my tank, cos its real loud. 3 thumbs up for this animal, crustacean lovers will appreciate it!
