Bro Jevismun,
I think there is a typo or my eyes see wrongly..at your new tank column - ehiem 1250 usage "hour per day" is 240??
I think your total usage in $$$ will greatly reduce..

I have since started to dose Waterlife's Myxazin..this is what I have been using prior using Polylab..
... ..Under control now...no more...
Tank is still very stable...
Recommended if MEDIC is out of reach to you.. :
no problem..just follow the procedure.
1.)Let the start feeding the unit till it start dripping then shut the output for 1~3 days..and stop feeding water to unit
(pls ensure your unit do not "back-siphon" to your sump)
2) after 1~3 days...start the unit and adjust drip-rate at 1 drop per sec... after 1~3 minutes..measure your NO3..it should be zero..
3) otherwise repeat step (1)..
Cheers.
your output of your denitrator should be ZERO to claim that it is "Functional"..otherwise, how can your main tank NO3 to get low?
IMO, If it is non-zero..then I suggest you should let your denitrator to "KICK-IN" before proceeding...Wait for a 2-3 day..do the measurement again.
Nice combi...sea fans don't need much lights so, the tank darker-side will be ideal for them..
Can't wait to see your tank combi result ..I am trying to so something similar but lazy to carry out to rescape the whole thing..
Yes..it is one of the two saltwater medication that works!...it is "colorless" but not easily available.
the other one is Myzaxin..but got "Green" color..need to use carbon to absorb it..
Nothing to update as no interesting specimens found.. ...
Rainfordi Butterfly still okay...hopefully can wait till my polylab's Medic arrive end of the month....
The rest Seems okay but no one know when will the predator strikes..
Maybe I should re-do the other tank scaping...it is a long "neglected" coral tank..
IMO, higher on the right side meant will "encourage" fishes to swim nearer to the surface... ..it will maximise your tank space...
you will see a difference..
Sorry..unable to recall as it happen during my bynosis outbreak ...fortunately, with chaeto and help of my YT ..
.the PREDATOR won (those alien is gone after two~four week break only)
Very nice dark substrate..
Just to share: I am using the same kind of Artificial Rock in one of my tank (8+ months)... Great stuff...just need to observe a short moment PO4(1~2 week) spike.. It will looks good after its start to build-up ...my mandarin love the environment now.. ...
For the same price..I will suggest go for 6500K..i have no suggest with those ikea one.. I think 7500K is fine too...just that it appear to be less yellow.
