i suspect my water flow are quite strong 5ft with 3 powerhead. now i have change to 2 smaller unit. and flow is ok by now. so are bubble need strong lighting? coz my tank almost 80% very bright.

for me my tank spec suitable for elegance, no problem for me after 6-7 months, but i have try to have bubble twice , both also fail, not sure what happen. i have goni as well 1 red and 2 green. its kinda funny, some might last from the beginning and some last for 1 week. sun coral quite hard to keep coz need target feeding, only for those who are patient on this.

someone told me this method before, but i am not sure. like u mention, standing on a chair will not get shock when there are any leaking, is that true?

this is what LS advise , it is not recommended to disturb the sand and expecially the filter media. this will cause the bacteria to die and your NO2 will be up again which will effect your fish. i also heard the tap water sometimes have toxic which cant be remove by adding anti clorine.

anyone know what happen? it seems like very aggrasive , but it dont eat those pallet, only saw eating algae at LR.

guys i was shock today, coz this afternoon i done a so called 20% water change. after finish i tested the water , my calcium is up above 420 marks. before change only 320 but my Kh drop at 7-8 dkh. will do something tommorow

how come got NO3 ???

thanks guys, normally i done some water change every 2 weeks, and i also have phosphate problem which coz the red slime alge problem. i need around 2 weeks to clear up those phosphate problem using the phos remover. and it still cant reach 400 mark of cal. now i plan to have water change on monthy basis. and see what can i do for calcium.

i am not sure about this, but the method " changing water " will make it more cynao.

guys, that's why i go for Seachem reef advantage calcium. coz inside got Magesium and strontium ( all in one ). i know we have maintain mag in order to get cal. i previous using the sperate cal and mag, but i found out that the mag tester are damn expensive. in-order to do it correct way, i got for S.reef adv cal. ok, here are what someone told me , but i am not sure weather i believe or not. here is the story, my friend suspect that my coral has been lack of calcium for some time, so whenever i added the cal, it will consume as much as it can but when it's full , then i can get the 400 mark cal in my tank. is that true??

i have the Sera Kh plus as well. i can maintain the Kh at 9 but my cal around 300 only. 15 drop now almost everyday i am adding the cal. now even my sera cal tester bottle 3 had finish! guys, let say if i maintain cal at 300, will my coral die? so if i use Kalk that means i dont need to use any other cal or Kh + izzit?
