    Hi folks,

    Buyer for all my Tangs backed out. They are up for sales again. I have to clear the equipment this sat so I have to do a very quick sale. I am selling all my Tangs (Yellow + Purple + Tomini + Blue + Sailfin) for only $100 for all these 5 fishes.

    The first person to PM me and can comfirm to collect at my home @ Punggol Central this Sat morning will get these beatiful fishes.

    I will need sometime to sort out the PMs from some of you folks. After that, I will contact you individually to collect. Collection place will be at Punggol Central most likely on a weekend.

    Please bear with me as I have to sell away the LS before the equipment. All the LS are in good health, no diseases. Their diet is pellets and flakes soaked in garlic juice every night. All in good health.

    As I have received many PMs. I will give priority to those that take more at one time. Hope that you understand. Keep the PMs coming and I will start replying you probably tomorrow onwards.

    Pink Nano cube for bid

    Hi,

    I have a pink nano cube that I bought during the promotion period earlier to let go. I had intially wanted to use it as QT tank but the plan did not materialize. Only used it for tank cycling period of 2 weeks and later decom.

    Comes with everything except the blue sponge that I had thrown away as I thought they are useless.

    Starting bid - S$25

    Cleaner Shrimp

    Please be careful when you measure SG. Use either a refractometer or digital probe. I am using Digilab. Before this I was using only a hydrometer and this is not very accurate. Just some thoughts that is all.

    How did you acclimatize the shrimps before releasing? What I did for new LS was:

    1) Wash the exterior of the plastic bag first and then wiped dry.

    2) Remove the rubber bands and float the bag in your diaplay tank and maybe attached with a clip/peg so as to prevent it from floating away.

    3) Add in your tank water into the bag, a little at a time at 10mins intervals.

    4) keep adding until the volume of the water added is about equal to the original amount in the bag.

    5) Use a plastic flour sieve to catch the shrimp/fish gently and then scoop it out and release into the main tank.

    6) So folks may like to do so into a partition of the sump first and until really stable then transfer using the sieve again later to the main diaplay tank and yet others use QTs. Using the normal fish net may cause unnecessary damage to the LS in the transfer process.

    You mean if i go buy those LR from fish farm and put into my tank during cycling, the rock will die off after that....?? 

    Don't worry bro, not all the organisms will die off after cycling! Just some of it that is why the ANN cycle.
