I bought this nitrate reducer. However there are no instruction as to how to use. Anyone care to share ? Aqua Macro Nitrate Reducer

I fully agree that this brand of skimmer is excellent. IMO,Needle driven skimmer are the best. It provide lot of oxygen and large skimmer rate. a half cup for 3 to 4 days of operation. I bought mine AS- 100 P for a litle under S$100. Normal price was S120+

Juz to share... for me, i add a couple cleaner shrimp. I have three tangs. Regal, Brown, Yellow Tang in my 4 ft. Initially, the brown tang has white spot. I caught it. Dip it in fresh water twice a day. In 3 days, the spots are gone. The fish is very healthy now. ONe more thing, if the fish does not die of white spot, it will be stronger and resistant to the disease. Garlic is a good preventive measure IMO.

try live food. eg brine shrimp or fresh water shrimp. Real tang are more canivorous compared to other tang eg Yellow sailfin. give it a few days to settle down. btw they are prone to white spot when under stress, better to add skunk cleaner shrimp.

-a deep sand bed. promoting de-nitrification. -protein skimmer. -nitrate reactor. -grow algae in your sump (refugium) -live rock -reduce feeding. Basically u have to slow down the nitrification process (provided your tank is stable and mature) and promote de-nitrification regards.

The minimum flow rate required is at least three times the tank volume. eg if the tank volume is 400l then the filtration flow rate should be more than 1200l per hr. Regards
