Hi there, i did try lowering the water lvl but when that happens, it will create a really noisy sound as there is like a mini tornado that is caused by the suction of the water into the pump. Thus i have to replace water evfery 3-4 days. these are some of the photos ... pls advice ..

Hi archilles, im placing the skimmer in the tank itself. Hasnt got a sump yet. So u mean to say its inevitable that i have to clear the collection each time i feed them ? It only floods when i feed frozen brineshrimps and henry's mix. When i feel dried shrimps, it dont flood weird huh?

HI all, can anyone answer my question pls? I have been using this skimmer since a few weeks ago. I tried asking around for help, but everytime ppl tells me that i have to wait for the skimmer to KICK in. Why is that everytime when i feed brineshrimps, or frozen food, the collection cap of my skimmer floods with very watery skimmate. So if u asked, ive been clearing skimmate twice a day.. And im getting tired.... Help pls ps. am using macro 250 and a 2ft tank with capacity of around 20g.

everytime when i feed:( cuz when i feed frozen food, the collection will flood...

i was told by henry to stop feeding once you see the fish slow down in eating. bu t i feed henry food for bf, frozen brine shrimp for dinner. my eel eat dried shrimps.

ya..i have the same prob too:( i thought it might be the water level... but i havent found the cure yet.

Hi all, in less than a week , i found out that my tank is too small (think every reefer has this problem). Therefore im going to the custom tank makers to make me a good tank (good enough for now)and sump. I have the intention of making a 30g (3 ft )tank with a sump (2 ft )below that sits in the cabinet. Can anyone out there provide me some measurements or any form of blueprints that i can show the tank maker.... thanks for all advice given

yes !! i finally got rid of the bubbles ...all thx to henry BTW ive found something very interesting... i saw something growing on the LR...the reason is because that area is exposed to sunlight during the day.... is it harmful to my FOWLR setup ? is it advisable to replace my tank because the present are causes my tank temp to fluctuate... pls advice ...thanks :)
