half the recommeded iodine dosage & high Alk. keeps it going ( 10 ~ 12dKH) . Gentle Water movement that lifts up the petals encourage it to bloom. Depends on whether it's a branched , sphere or slab specimen. ( varies from moderate, moderate-low to low flow ). illum. it w T5 , coral placed under 6 to 10 inches . Important, do not disturb it, once it is in place. keep hands away from tank for 1 week. The above works for me.Good Luck..
