I still got one Female SH got it but seem the 'ulcer' start recovering by itself. Just incase, will appreciate if you can advise where to purchase and the price of Triple Sulfa. As for the snout rot, the speading is readi fast. This usually happen to pink tip SH. Cheers....

Eating tissues Parasites are very common sickness in SH world. I lost a few SH becos' of this bloody problem. Since than I had made a few water change and installed a UV filter and so far so good, able to stop the speading. As for the food, all my frozen food are enriched with Selcon before feeding since a mth. back, hope this will boost up them immu. system again paraites.

Errrrr.....I think my newly brought H.reidi is a gay!!!!! Just an hours ago, he is courtshiping my old male Kuda and the poor old kuda is 'running' like hell from him. After for 10 min., he trun his target to another small H.comes....male SH again..... There are so many nice 'ladies' in the tank and he just have no interest......

Yap, I brought 2 pair of Barbouri from ML before and accepting frozen food within a day but get diseases after 2-5 days. All die within 2 two days. Wost is that the diseases passes to my other SH and causes a few male SH die....Now, no more Barbouri for me.....even it look heathy. For the old Kuda, I got one from ML few week ago. Seem much easier to get him eat frozen food. This 'old man' still with me now and eat whatever I throw in....

My new pair from LCK only accept live food and more active from the pair from WC. Hope they can accept frozen food another 2-3 day time. The male I got from WC still very shy....

Ha Ha....My nursery tank is around and running, today (on leave) just top up a layer of #0 sand to set as a DSB method w/o skimmer. Hope the next birth will have a better luck. Guess what? I just went to LCK to purchase another pair of H.reidi for less than 100....

Setting up a SH tank is much simpler than reef tank. I assume you have read and find out some basic of keeping SH. Equipment wise, a tall tank with live rocks (add in a bit of plastic nice red/yello/green colour seaweed will be good), just need a simple light, a good skimmer, filter and ofcos' you need the tank to be cycled before intro. in the SH. Food wise- best fozen food like Mysis or you can feed them with small live fresh water glass shrimp. All the equipment are easily avail. in most of the marine LFS or you can get all the things at Serangoon nth. 'Pet street'....

Great you get one...Me too, brought only one but the bigest one in all the bag....ha ha ha.....Did you get the pipefish for a fresh water dip before you put it in your main tank? I do that now a day, just to be sure....guess you saw the other post on the Red SH, I got a pair......YA.......! which cost me another 100 gone in my pocket.....

Hon, Dun tell me you put them into your main tank. If so, good luck, I dun think they will able to find food.........if not, try newly hatched enriched BS....if still can not, give it to me lo......
