  1. Thanks. Was there Sunday too, late afternoon but don't remember seeing any small ones. Wasn't really looking though. Anyone seen or wts your algae blenny?
  2. Looking for the above fishes, about 1.5inch max or so. Haven't seen these sizes in the LFS I've visited recently. Preferably deal in the north/south line.
  3. For those interested, it seem that sliding them forward/backward seems to be the best way to loosen their suction.
  4. Fat fellow, 2 inch or so. Takes pellets, frozen food and flakes. Hurt its tail fin when I trapped it, nothing serious and still swimming ok. Collection at Sembawang. http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11_03/pr...oot_parent_id=4
  5. Was wondering if there's an easier or right way to do this. Always afraid I'll hurt them if I tug them by the shell....
  6. Any small Coral beauty spotted? Abt 1-1.5"? Looking for Citron clown goby and Fork-tail blenny too. http://www.aquahobby.com/marine/e_Gobiodon_citrinus.php http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cl...;articleid=1955
  7. Happy Birthday! Thanks for still running this wonderful forum! :thanks: :thanks:
  8. Giving away one about 2inch coral banded shrimp (aka boxer shrimp) Do a search, I have an earlier thread with pictures if you need to take a look. Collection at Sembawang.
  9. Assuming you have no fish yet... Cut a plastic 500ml (or smaller) bottle in half, slot the part where you drink from into the bottom half. Place a market prawn (haybee worked for me...) into the bottle, leave it on your sandbed. What I did was to push down one side of the bottle into the sand, so one side of the entrance is more or less level to the sandbed. Off the lights, wait for a night or too. Do this during the cycling phase though. Good luck.
  10. Besides letting the tank mature, you've got to let the shrimps acclimatise properly before adding them to the tank. After letting them get used to the tank temperature, add a little of your tank water into the bag, leave for awhile, and repeat again. If you kwai kwai, maybe 30mins for them to get used to the new water conditions. Do a search here about acclimatising shrimps, there'll be better suggestions from the others.
  11. Thanks for the quick deal :thanks:
  12. I'm interested, can collect from you later.
  13. Thanks for the suggestions. Place is a little too small to have a quarantine tank. I'll use a betta tank (those floating type) and see what happens.
  14. Took out from the JBJ 24G nano, previous owner kept CRS. Tank was prob less than 6 months old I think. Both bulbs are white/white, 36W PL Like to exchange for a Blue/Blue or selling them for $10 for the 2 bulbs.
