  1. Please do not use copper unless you have a seperate tank that you will NEVER use in the future for keeping Inverts. Cleaner Shrimps are good as a precaution but not cure of White Spot. In fact i dont think they can physically remove it. If your fishes are already seriously infested with white spot, i would suggest you remove them and do a FW dip. If your fish are very mildly infected, then as Spider said, just use Garlic and maintain high quality of water. If you have no inverts in your tank, you can Very gradually lower your S.G to around 1.016. But then again, its not a cure.
  2. Hi, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think thats Alveopora, not Goniopora...
  3. Yeah hope mine continue to recover also... currently also around 50 cent coin... Stupid me always thought they were like the the diameter of lets say 500ml water bottle from the net pics... when i saw the Rics in reality really shocker manz...
  4. May not be the fault of the Ammonia Alert. Sometimes there might not be any Ammonia/ Nitrite spike during the cycling process. This was the case when i started out too. But test kits are still more accurate. The Ammonia Alert should act only as a precaution for very extreme ammonia levels.
  5. jinners> Dont think you need to worry about your Rics not opening up yet. I've read a couple of sites that state that the Rics will take about 2 weeks to recover to their original size. Taking into consideration that the Rics we got from ML had such a long shipping time in darkness + lotsa handling by buyers it's not surprising that the process might take even longer. My orange Rics only just expanded to more decent size about yesterday and my Violet Ric is still recovering from me snipping it into 2. Rics are hardy creatures and they'll rally round provided your water isnt That bad lahz~
