    Maybe 14 cw 6 ww , 14 rb 6 b, 4 UV as moon light ...... I would prefer to use dimmer so I can tune the light to my liking..

    As for placement you have ask james or do more research .. T5 is it better to put around the middle of the tank.... I can't change mine already so I put at side don't really like it .

    I like my tank color with blue led and white t5..

    Yeah, i might change the driver in future to work with Profilux light II controller. But need to learn more from Bro James first :lol:

    The fixture of the LEDs will be in the middle + T5s at the sides one on each side.

    I was thinking on the same line...but since you already have the T5 blue and Purple plus...so, you might want to think of "what if " in the future if you decide to change the T5 to white like bro sunny03... :blush:

    If you want the flexibility of changing the T5 lightings...it would be good to include 2 x violet or/and 2 x Turquoise... :idea: :idea:

    I think flexibility is better in reefing, so that I dont have to be stuck with something.

    hmmm. what should the ratio be now? ^_^

    Read from somewhere mixing colours wrongly also will get wrong effect right. eg turquoise + red + cool blue = 10k - 14k ?

    3 groups of power plugs:

    1) 10royal blue / 4blue / 2violet

    2) 14cool white / 6warm white / 2turquoise / 2 red

    3) 2 t5

    Will control them with timer first, in future might diy with controllers

    I mean your total number of led is 41 pcs so wonder how many driver u are using

    :poster_oops: got typo error, total number of LEDs are 40, running on 6 drivers.

    But i can change the colours now. Dont know more colours means better or redundant to corals. Headache if want to add what should be the ratio like for the LEDs :drunk2: .

    Or i dont need others colours like violet & turquoise already as im using 1x t5 Actintic? :dunno:

    I would think 25% Warm White and 75% Neutral White would be a better choice...the purple plus actually doesn't cover much of the red specturm ...so you might want to keep the red as is... :cheers:

    hahaha so how do u guys think should i arrange it?

    LED group:

    1. Royal blue - Blue - Red

    2. Cool white - Warm white

    3. T5s

    This arrangement should be fine to "simulate" the dawn-sunrise-sunset feel right? B)

    How many driver are you going to run ? Dimmable type ? w Your number of led seem to be funny I would go for some warm white and cool white . Currently I am running led with 2 t5 also but mine t5 are white ..

    Not dimmable type. Bro u mean the ratio of the led will turn out the whole colour of the tank funny? hmmm if the ratio of warm white & cool white 1/2 each will it balance out the whole thing? eg 10x cree warm white, 10x cree cool white?

    LED with T5 is the best combination for SPS.

    Actually that's how i feel also. hmmm if im running t5s with ATI purple plus & actintic i dont think need the 2 red LEDs already right?

    Hi Bros & Sis

    Im planning customized a LED fixture with t5s fixture.

    Do you think this setup will work well with sps?

    3w cree LEDs details:

    20x Cree Cool white

    13x Cree Royal Blue

    6x Cree BLue

    2x Red leds

    2x 24w t5s details:

    1x ATI Purple plus

    1x ATI Actintic

    Hopefully the T5s will bring out the colours of the sps?
