If i would to reduce to 1000lph plus head lost from sump to tank.. i may be getting even lesser flow rate to the tank... wouldn't it be less effective? Cos i am not really sure about other reefers' chiller kick in frequency... Just wanted to know if mine is normal..

I have a resun CL 650 and runs a 2000litre pump from sump 3 *1.5*1.5 to main tank 3*1.5*1.5. I estimated that the chiller will kick in about every 1.5 hr for about 50mins. I set the temperature to 27 degree. Is the flow rate ok or too slow?
