  1. It's still better to get those seaweeds specially made for marine fishes, twolittlefish is a good brand, with all types of seaweeds, red, purple, green, mix. I tried feeding with those seaweeds yong tau foo uses, they are too hard for the fishes to tear apart, if we were to shred for them, it will be until tomorrow. For the red bamboo, it will be best to buy 2 or 3 of them, put one into the main tank, once the tangs about to finish them, remove them and put it into the sump, make sure some bamboo is still around, if not they won't grow back. With the constant rotating, we can save a lot of $$, hee. :yeah: But of cas, if you have a lot of algae eater, then the rate that the fishes finish the algaes would be faster than the rate the algaes can grow back. I tried lots of ways to make a tang fat fat, the best way is still feeding them with algaes/seaweeds, they faten up instantly. Hahaha :D The clips pls don't get from stationery shop, they contain metal material, buy i from fish shop, almost all fish shop have it, one or maybe two clips cost around $7 to $8.

  2. Bi-colour angel are generally difficult to feed compared to all the other dwaft angels, I would really prefer to buy bi-colour angel that are already feeding. Bought a few from farms few months ago without checking they are feeding or not, in the end all died. (Of-course the few of them is not bought together). But after that, I bought 1 from Henry, and it survive, although the price was slightly higher, but he assured me that it feeds, that is something we should look out for. :yeah:

  3. Since you are changing the ballast, means the light tube and the old ballast you won't be using right? Then sure can 1 mah, the question is just that whether the new ballast can fit into the casing or not. But bear in mind that you have to change the ballast before using HO tubes, someone tried before using the NO ballast with Ho tube, and the whole thing just caught fire.

  4. Try to buy from Marine Life, Henry, his cleaner wrasse is fantastic, accept almost any food, he is willing to test feed as well. But most of the cleaner wrasse's life span is'nt very long, I don't understand this either. At 1st I thought it was because they eats parasite and that cause their short life span, but after feeding them with marine food, they still die in a few months time, hmm, some bros can help in this?

  5. I think you bros have got a point also, if I buy a giant clam i think the flame angel will not dare to nip on it also. I observe that normally when I bought a clam, the angel will nip it when it's about to extend. Preventing it from extending, if the clam was healthy and extend fully, I think the angel "may" not nip on it. Hmmm :o

  6. Do you mean the scooter dragonet? Its not easy to keep, due to its dietary requirement, it is challenging to feed. Their dietary requirement are live food like pods and live food from sand/rocks etc. But if you are lucky enough to get one that will accept flakes or dead food, then it'll be rather easy to maintain.
