hi bro, do you know which antibiotics?
incidently i recently acquired a pylei wrasse with a cloudy eyes. after about a week, the eye started to swell... and now it looks like what this bro has described, an air bubble inside. the eye is still cloudy but the wrasse is still feeding v well.
i might want to catch it out and treat it if i know what antibiotics would help... i've heard adding epsom salt will help but what is epsom salt? and it screws up the salinity too so i am reluctant to do that to my main tank with all the other lifestock / corals in it...
Yes I agree with using epsom salt, it really helps. You have to dose the right amount, 1 tbs per 5 gallon of water. You can get it from watson or guardian pharmacy.

what do you feed your fish?
what brand/type of pellet do you use?
roughly how much and how many times a day?
i have 2 tangs 4 clowns 3 gobies 2 chromis, feed 4 times a day, 4-5 hours internal
morning 1 frozen cube of mysis
noon pellets (weekend seaweed or lettuces)
evening pellets
night 1 frozen cube of mysis or bloodworm with soak with garlicguard
thanks
I fed them with ##### pellets, once in the morning, noon/night I'll feed them with with "two little fishes" 's marine seaweeds and frozen food, either frozen angels's food, or frozen mysis shrimp. I would suggest not to feed blood worm, as I have bad encounter with feeding blood worms, they lead to internal parasites. I would choose mysis and brine shrimp in terms of price within that range (ard $1.5 - $2 depends on which shop u bought it from).

Ur live rocks and sand are gotten from beach right? If you rinse/wash them with fresh water, the beneficial bacteria will be washed off or die off.
You have to start the cycling process by introducing stuff that produce ammonia, since you are not rush in the cycling process (a perfect sign), you can put a piece of market prawn (dead prawn) into the tank in order to start the cycling process by letting the prawn produce ammonia. You will be away from your tank until april? You have to monitor the cycling process in order to make sure it went smooth, if you don't have the time to monitor, you have to make sure both ammonia and nitrite is 0 when you got back, nitrate should be detectable if your tank is cycling well.

no fan no chiller
322, 321 sump, top app 7-10l a day
planning to put my return pump outsump but the parts not available yet
Bro, I don't quite understand, you don't use a cooling fan, but how come you have to top up 10L a day? Your tank is near the window/reachable by sunlight? Your tank temp is normal for a tank without fan/chiller, best is you may want to invest in a chiller, I find chiller save me a lot of trouble as compared to fan which I used previously. Even when I used cooling fan previously, my tank did not evaporate as much water as compared to yours...
Try not to keep any invert/coral with your current temperature, they won't do well. Fishes should be ok, but their colour may not be as vibrant. And do check out your oxygen level as well, higher temp may have lower oxygen level and lower PH. If you increase your amount of live stock with your current temperature, your PH will further reduce due to the amount of CO2 release (reduction in oxygen level).

Try not to lift the sponge out of the water, air may clog and they will die off.

Did you try polyart at 328? Saw them hatching it in big quantity last Friday.
Ya I saw them, 4 packets left, but I'm nto sure if they are dep or brine though. But the price they wrote on the bag is relative high, more than one red note O_O. Wonder if the high price is due to quality eggs....
But I prefer adult brine, baby brine cloud water and fishes won't be able to see them easily...
-
If I remember correctly its around 5 L

Anyone knows where got sell live brine shrimp now? Went to clementi c328 where they used to sell, but no more.. Wonder if its out of stock or they stop selling..

I would suggest fairy wrasse or anthias, but don't get purple queen, they are not easy to feed.

So if I require to top-up my marine tank daily, I just need to open I bot of distilled water and pour in directly is it ?
Yup thats what I do, haha. For top up, just pour in directly, for water change, you premix in a pail, and perform water change once matured.
-
did he buy 85 X $10 items or $85X 10 items lolx..
LOL if 85 * $10 then he must be driving lorry. LOL
-
How about if I top up my marine tank daily by using tap water from my container for over 1 night?
Usually top up 1.5L every day.
Leaving water over night in a pail will only remove/eveporate chlorine, many of the elements like little trace amount of copper will still be present in the water. Depends on whether you are keeping a FOWLR or a reef tank, generally a FOWLR tank doesn't requires a perfect water condition, but its still better to do so. When using distilled water as top up, trace element will have to be replenish manually by ourselves to prevent deficient in them. Unless water change is done constantly/periodically.

Lemon peel reef safe?
Most of the angels are not reef safe. I think the few reef safe angels are Lamarck, blackspot, watanabe. But they are not dwaft species though.

yeah...and how much bro?
is your CL650 in good condition? The external cover, and internal stuff etc, like any huge noise when operating?

Due to Budget constrain, I've to settle for China Chilliers . Any brand to recommand ?
I was thinking of ReSun or Hailee ?
Which is better ?
Power consumption ? are they better than Antarctic ?
Oh, my tank is 3 x 2 x 2 .
Which model from your suggeston ?
Currently my tank Temp is 28 degrees ( using fan )
Thanks in advance for all , thanks a million .
Your tank is 3 x 2 x 2, if u plan to get resun, u can't get CL 280, it's too low for your tank, the chiller will keep working non stop. You have to at least get CL 450, but CL650 preferred. I have been using CL 450 for 4 years, almost 5 years, annual maintenance, never failed me. But planning to change to CL 650 soon, as the chiller kick start quite often. Btw my tank is smaller than yours by the height, instead of 3 x 2 x 2, mine is 3 x 2 x 1.5.

Izzit the brand with blue wrapping??
Make sure you dun buy mineral water, they contain sodium. Check the specs on the bottle, distilled water should indicate 0 mg for all the elements. You can try the brand "Life distilled water", can be purchased easily from NTUC. So far of all the brand, i find this brand the cheapest. 2 x 1.5L cost $0.95.
-
Or if u lazy to cut, u can buy "two little fish" brand, its in bottle, cutted in fine stripes, have choices of red, green, purple and mix seaweeds.

Anyone saw any dwaft angels at SL?

You can try royal gamma, they are pinkish in colour also. But they are sometimes quite aggressive though.
