hi guys... i'll be getting the live rocks from Jewel.. i dun actually need so much...but since hes selling at a good price and he wants to sell at one lot...the offer is too to pass. i will be collecting from him the LR most probably tonight. venue is at potong pasir. i myself needs ard 15kg while spiderone wants 5kg. so i still have balance of abt 40kg +/- i dun have dat much container to bring all the LR home...so those wanna buy...pls be able to come to potong pasir to split the loot. price is as wat Jewel's selling...$3 per kg. contact me at 91527697 befor 6pm today. cheers!

1st and foremost... wats the thickness of the tank? if its for freshwater...its most probably 6mm... which could be risky and is not recommended.

my batch also dun look polluted.. problem is after using the magnet... those metal particles dat attched to my magnet are those grain size black stuff.. meaning to say it could very well be the black thing u tot is the sand. since copper might be harmful...i rather be safe than sorry.

bot my sand from petmart too.. have to wash lah.. remember to put in a piece of strong magnet inside.. u'll be amazed by the amount of metal stuff inside.

check out the thread by golden tooth on his new tank. he has a pic of his sump there...u might wanna have a look at his sump design. other than that, doing a search on the interenet for "DIY sump" or "sump design" will yield you some webbys where u can see some designs too. most importantly, the sump has to have sufficient space for you to put in ur skimmer and the return pump.
