  1. No lah....too fake already Anyway, here are some new frags I got....blue or purple?
  2. Hi Jamie, Sorry we couldn't hook up to do the LFS thing this time around.....Next time! I'm sure you didn't complete parts of you job on purpose so they have to call you back in to finish the job
  3. ...but just need to post this... Second spawn, day 1 on Sat....
  4. There are true ang pow red Sun Corals.....saw some in HK. You can also see them in the wild, just depends on where you dive - natural regional color variants. The tentacles will almost always be orangish, however.
  5. Bro, If they're small, they are probably unsexed juveniles and you can just release them into the tank - they will generally associate with each other almost immediately. Some bickering is normal but harmless and they do need to do that to establish a heirachy - so they know who is going to be the female Don't worry about the anemone - they will find it eventually. May take slightly longer if it is not one of their natural host anemone.
  6. Aiyah....not purple enough
  7. Why?....you thinking of picking up the one at Yat Wong?
  8. Oh....in that case, they are the distributors - see RCT's website - they list 2 japanese distributors..
  9. That might be possible....sometimes DA has info that few of us have However, at the prices of everything in Japan, I doubt they could sell any of their dwarfs outside of Japan!
  10. Bro...Think you are confusing the facility in Hawaii as Japanese? It's this one right?
  11. As for all the queries regarding how to breed/raise them: It's really not too difficult - feed the pair well, isolate the larvae, feed rotifers, then progress to bbs....No holidays till they take bbs! Most of all - get Joyce Wilkinson's book! Even tho you think you already know the procedures by heart, you will find yourself going back and referring to the text over and over again! Kind of like studying for exams
  12. Day 36 - size compared to a regular Ammonia Alert badge. Second stripe starting to come in....
  13. Oooo....nice fish! Good companions for each other..now you just need to get all the other gobies - start another goby craze!
  14. This is my "zoo trinity"....with new pink got a couple of weeks ago. Really difficult to get the color right for the pink but this is close, except that the color is more even in real life....
  15. I think the color is more like this, right?
  16. If you can rustle up together 300 to 500 kg, I may be able to get some in....depends on if the manufacturer will sell in such small quantities!
  17. Buy! Buy! Buy!...cost less than this pair anyway Actually lost most of them on the transition from rotifers to BBS....not so free to feed 3 times daily so probably overfed with my 1x daily feedings Metamorphosis was a piece of cake by comparison! Need those pods!
  18. Well, that's all for now folks! Wish me luck in raising them to full color and size.....just another 1/2 a yr more
  19. Day 19....Can you believe it, they are already bickering with each other! Just found out that this is quite normal...not enough of them to crowd out the instinct!
  20. Day 15..... only 4 fries made it through the metamorphosis stage and this one is the runt - still not developing the head band yet and actually only did so about another 3-4 days later
  21. Day 15...just about the time of metamorphosis - head band starting to show up...
