Have only tried feeding the fish with: market prawn, brine and mysis. Very greedy!! Have not tried pellets. Have tried to attach image but failed.

Anybody interested in this 1.5'' hawk fish (not long nose) for $5 or swap with other fish not too aggressive (except nemo). Need your help again. What is the recommended distance from the water level to the T5 tube. I will not have any glass cover in the tank and I will use water proof end caps. I want to minimize salt accumulation in the tube but at the same time maximize the light intensity to the tank. Is it ok to have no glass cover below the tube to protect it from water splash?

The info I read is that you need to soak the probe (pen type) to a wet sponge (not sure what solution) when you are keeping it else the probe will get damage. If this is the case, can you just leave the probe in the tank, just making sure you only dip the probe so it always wet.

Is the Ph meter (pen type) accurate? Does the reading correlate with PH test kit?

Anybody modified the AAP t5 lighting from Aquamarin to install individual switch for each tube?

Anybody can help? Is halogen lamp can be used as replacement for MH? Is it suitable for tank also?

Need help from SEIO users. Can the SEIO 620 be used as a return pump for an IOS tank? Can the output of the seio 620 be directed to a 3/4" hole from the internal sump to main? Planning to get a maxi1200 but looks like the wattage is higher (only 8 watts for seio 620) and may raise the temp of the water too much? Only see Seio pumps used in the main tank.

Which hydrometer is accurate, the tube one or the swing arm? Is refractometer far better than the hydrometer, or can live up with hydrometer for measuring specific gravity?
