i saw a strand of shit kana squirt out from the rocks. last few times i onli saw the shit but i didnt see whereits coming from but today i saw it from the rocks??!! any comments?

my box died after 4mths......n i nv find its body. onli one of my cleaner shrimp died, my strawberry dotty.....so cant be too toxic lah but mine is a 1.5cm box

when i just have my box, it was disturbed by the damsels. the box looked bo hiew. after 1-2 days, no bullying occur anymore

Yep, the refugium is wher u put ur M-A. both DSB n refugium will help to reduce ur nitrate. U will at least need 4 inch of DSB if not its onli a Sandbed...... use grade 0 sand if using grade 1, maybe 6inch or more is needed. *no water shd be passing tru the DSB

will it be ugly if a 1.5ft tall tank have a 4inch DSB? Y not have a smaller sump to put ur DSB n refuguim?

i asked the same qn wif no reply 2..... i have a simple workable design here n comments r welcomed. sorry for the lousy drawing..... the DSB shd have at least 4 inch of grade 0 sand or maybe 6inch of grade 1 sand. no water shd pass tru the DSB cheers

sad to say but i think ur butter is on its way. my 1 eat brine, flakes frozen brine......anything i feed. but i had 3 butter before this successful 1 that doesnt feed n died abt 2 weeks but i like butter n so i keep improving my tank n try again n again n again
