The controlling takes time as the leveling is quite slow if you are talking about incresing the water level considering gravity pull, but lowering can be fast due to gravity too. external have 1 less issue of internal as internal is also affected by the sump water level height Another issue to take note is the water outlet after the gate valve Water return outlet must not have any blockage, if blocked will have the same effect as closing the gatevalve causing the water level in the skimmer body to increase thus leading to wet skimmage or even over flow. or what they usually consider "unstable water level" causing over flowing like crazy. many waste collector is too small so if this monster skimmer skims very well after good tuning. Kopi-o will fill the waste collector even only 4 days with heavy bio load. Anything more too add?

Hi, I have a skimz beckett complete with RIO26 and waste collector ... Whole unit is less then 1 year and maintains every 2 weeks on the collection cup and waste collector, whole unit is taken out to wash even the nozzel to maintain it's effectiveness ... condition is very good, no visible and physical damage ... So far works very well in my previous 2ft cube and now serving my 3ft ... Going cos I'm upgrading my tank soon to be 5 ft ... might be getting a dual monster beckett ... Pics are as follows ... I had the same problem as you but not as bad the smel as yours, AM recmmended the active carbon, they say quite good, so since they are the expert, i try using them. So far it realy works ... smell removed liao For the spider web, i also have lei, but since smell removed liao, i don't care lor, LR ex lei ... kekee Now my LR slowly getting purple liao ... U might wana try asking AM for the active carbon ...

Bro, I assume you are asking me about the equipments i use for this tank. 1) ATI 4 Tube (2blue and 2 white) 2) Skimz Beckett Protein Skimmer 3) Skimz FR (Phosphate Remover) 4) Resun Chiller CL280 5) Cheapo UV (only ON Sat and Sun) 6) Uses Seio and Ehiem Pumps 7) Plastic Bioball and Coral Chips in the Sump I dono the specs for the pump, cos match by the shop, told me b4 but forgotten Hope it helps ... (Yesterday, me and my wife are considering upgrading into 5ft cos she say cannot just put whatever she like for the 2ft cube ... )
