Hi Bros! I got 10 clams in my tank but so far my calcium level is more than 500! I never top up with calcium before! Is this normal?? How long does it take for calcium to deplete?

The derasa is big! It is about $120 or more I think! The small ones (Maxima)are $20. There are also medium size derasas. The price ranges from size and only the lfs can give u the actual price. I tried to gauge the prices myself when I bought but always got the wrong one!

Actually beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. They do have nice clams! Price wise, subjective! Some ppl won't mind paying extra if they like the stuff! For me, give and take! If not too costly and nice I dun mind! Clams do lower down your nitrate rite?? Can anyone vouch this??

Hi! I got 8 clams in my 2 x 2 x 2 feet tank! I use MH single 150 W 10 K bulb. I put my lights about 3 inches from the water surface. I switch on the lights for 10 hours and every 2 to 3 days feed them with DT Phytoplanktons. When I used PL lights, they did not open much but after upgrading to MH, they always open their mantles big big! My biggest clam is about a feet long and smallest about 2 inches!

Hi Bros ! Sorry for my ignorance but i thot clams cost $24-$28 at Pasir Ris at 4 inches and above?? Can someone clarify which type of clam more ex?? The ones I bought have nice colours on the mantle. Is this Crotea?? Pls enlighten me. Thxs!
