I switch on the Mh lights from 8 pm to 6 am in the morning. Temp dun vary that much.

Mine i am using MH 150 Watts with only a fan blowing. Temp rose abt 1 Deg from 27.2 to 28.2. I have 7 clams in my 2 footer. I notice that they open their mantle bigger after i changed from PL to MH lights.

I read somewhere it does reduce nitrate in ur tank. Can clam experts verify this?? Thks.

Got myself a 150W 14K Mh light. Very bright and powerful. My clams and anemones now open up bigger and the colouration on the mantle intensified. Btw, how ofetn do I have to feed the clams?? Is the light enough for them to get their food from??

Hi Guys! I am new to clam rearing. I have a 2 feet tank with double tube light using 2 tubes of Coralife 20000K . Is this enough light ?? I usually switch on for 10 hours! Is this okay?? What do u guys mean by t5 light?? Any recommendations on where to get good lights for reef keeping for a 3 feet tank and how much to spend. Thanks.

Yup I thot any fish will not last long for the long run?? So far my fishes are surviving but I do have some casualities as well. Any not only that, I do c some white spots on my butterfly fish at 1.014. Can anyone explain?? Thanks.
