Got this pair of Maroon Clowns from another reefer. Female is abt 3.5" and the male is abt 2.5". They are frolicking each other all the time BUT they are whacking my other ordinary clown. So they gotta go. Selling for $25/pair. OR trade for tangs/LPS pm me... julian

are you able to set the temp differential i.e. +- Xdegrees before it kicks in? dun like the idea of the chiller kciking in every time temperature goes up by 1 degree

Hi, thinking of getting a 1Hp once and for all, put a rest to my 1/4HP artica. would like to gather feedback from reefers who've made this switch: 1. noise wise - izzit comparable or louder 2. heat wise - ditto 3. copper or titanium coil - izzit really worth the few hunderd to go titanium? 4. chill down and... are there other providers and what's the rates? 5. $$$ - this is a rhetorical ques. i suppose the elect bill will show savings, rite? any thing else i should be aware of? thanks jules

I don't think they are dead as can still see mucous from it.

hmmm... started the chiller at 5pm. about 30 degrees at that time. 4xt5s on. went out for dinner. came back around 8pm. saw temp was 28 degrees. so maybe 1 degree per 1.5 hrs

hiaz...calculated tank + sump capacity, was within the chiller's max load cpabilities, so thought should be no prob but its taking too long to cool...

Selling 7 month old Arctica 1/4HP Chiller. bought from another reefer, he got it on 10 Feb 07, still got 1yr 5 mnth warranty left. Just serviced 3 weeks ago. Still in very good condition, just set it up in my 4x2.5x2.5. not good enough for my 4 footer + sump. get it for $1100. don't bargain.
