oh man i saw this clip in faces of death. this wrestler was standing on the ropes jumping down for a slam(as they always do), he made the mid air kick, left foot landed on the ground(inside the ring) and you can just see the shin snapping into 2 just above the boots. my god. the agony on his face. the shin was like 90 degrees. so yes, the fighting is fake, the risks r very real

i stopped watching when the ultimate warrior quit. he had the most unbelievable muscles and veins popping out. i heard he died later cos of the strings he tied around his arms for that effect. is that true or a load of crap? wrestling was so believable those days. did they add in all the acting later or was it an act all along? maybe it was believable cos i was still a kid back then.... *_*

if i'm not wrong they will use the secondary pass for the first 3 months thingy. as for the pass itself, its certainly different. not sure about the amount they have to pay for the monthly concession. may be the same. can't remember anymore, seems like such a long time ago was still using bus stamps back then. you know the feeling of pasting a brand new bus stamp onto your pass at the end of every month? unbeatable feeling. its like opening a new can of tennis balls. or opening a new pack of salt mix. sweet.

you know, actually in the book, the sword was re forged in episode 1(fellowship of the ring) even before the fellowship of 9 set out from rivendell.

the fact that it is a thousand page book shot into a movie film means that none of the characters can be portrayed in detail or great accuracy. i mean, there is enough content in the book to be filmed into a tcs 120 episode drama series ala holland village. (the day tcs touch this great story is the day i unleash my precious onto them) peter jackson has done a excellent job with the constrains he faces.

if i remember correctly, frodo in the book was in his 50s when he set out from the shire onto this adventure.

for once, the male species look prettier than the female

many thinks of the movie as gaylish, but you have to remember the story is more than about just great wars. its also about love and courage. more of love between fellow man/hobbits. not That kind of love. if peter jackson had left out all the hobbits gaylish scenes, it'd remained a war movie, and nothing more than that.

thats not eowyn's father. thats her uncle. but it was one of my fav scene. just don't understand how a stab to the back of the leg can bring the mighty witchking to his knees for that long for eowyn to strike.

it looks pretty solid is that coral chips in the filter compartment? you outta consider removing it.

you might want to get the more porous ones. sometimes its not really the cheaper the price per kg, the more you save. some of the pricier rocks are lighter. you actually save more if you buy the more expensive ones.

watched return of the king the 2nd time today. must say i feel i enjoyed it even more the 2nd time. its the 2nd time in my life i watched a movie alone. has to be a movie i really look forward to watching to drive me to doing it alone. the first 1 was starwars ep1. it was really terrible. waste of my time
