  18. Used LED light for sale at $50 (negotiable) The casing is a bit rusty as seen in the photos. As I have used it a few years, the output is not as bright as compared when it was new. I have used it for a 5.5ft tank and it should be ok for smaller 2ft tank. PM me if you are interested. Thank you. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  21. When in alternate mode, it seems that the blowing down (reverse mode) is not strong even though it is set up to 90% as compare to the blowing up (or straight). The volume of water flow is lesser in reverse mode. Is it just me?
  22. I am using 2 to 5s pulse at 90%. Sometime, I do switch to alternate at 90% and 90%.
  23. NSW may be stored in the open and thus it can be diluted when it rain. Get a refractometer. If it indicate too low, top up with salt. Pro and con in using NSW. I have a 5.5' tank so use NSW is suitable. Too troublesome to mix salt. So far it is ok if your system is setup properly. Small tank can use mixed salt as it is more controlled which is a must for small tank since there is less buffer for changes.
  24. I had 1 black sea cucumber for more than 5 years in my old tank. Still surviving well after I transfer to my friend tank. I had another one for my 6 month tank and it is doing well as well. To me, it is a must have. My advice is to get one which size is appropriate for your tank. Monitor it for the first few weeks. If it survive, it is difficult to die.
