  1. Hi guys, Got some rock anemones growing in my tank, they spread damn fast! Wats the proper way of dealing with them? Mix kalk paste and then inject directly into their mouths? Will it release any harmful toxins into the water? Need some advice on this... Thanks in advance!
  2. Gotta say you have a very interesting rockscape there, nice! dun worry bout cycling, mine took 2 months.. jus gotta wait it out...

  4. Haha, i dun normally spoon feed my sun corals, just squirt GP around them and let them catch it with their polyps. more regarding my LPS lah, find it more convenient to drop pellets on them.. shall give it a try and see how it goes.. thanks!
  5. So its fine ah? i tried with my sun coral before also, but changed to GP now... wonder if feeding Formula 2 is better since it contains so much more nutrients? they seem to like it more than my GP
  6. hi guys, Was jus thinking, is it fine to feed LPS corals food like Formula 2 pellets? my open brains seem to love it when the pellets drop on them during feeding time, jus need to clarify...
  7. You can add conditioner like Seach*m Prime and leave it overnight. It removes chloramine which doesn't go away easily like chlorine.

  11. Lets help put things in perspective. Your post quite confusing. First of all, are your live rocks cured or uncured? and what is your current setup? If its a new cycling process, pls remove your fishes for the time being and let your new tank cycle fully. Its a really cruel process to subject them thru the whole process of cycling. So what if they are hardy? Patience is the key to this hobby, we all want to see fishes kicking becos of the excitement, but in this hobby, you cant afford to rush. A tank that is not fully and properly cycled can create alot of problems for you later on. What you really should do is this: 1. Take out your fishes now and put them in another tank/frens tank for the time being. 2. Add in a few kg of uncured live rocks or a small piece of market prawn to let your tank cycle FULLY. 3. The cycle kicks with an ammonia spike and ends when your NH3 and NO2 is undetectable. 4. Once you have tested and the parameters are as above, add in ur LS slowly. Like 1 fish per week or two. Be a responsible reefer, if not u will end up killing more and spending even more. Its a steep learning curve, but i believe the best way is to learn right from day 1. Ultimately, the decision lies with you. we are jus here to give our advices. Peace!
  12. You and Ro go lah, double team him and give him the Last Ride...
  13. You mean to say the tanks in the TCS setting all built by them ah?? no wonder they in business lah... ever notice those tanks always use fake corals, few damsels/clowns and nearly zero water current? i wonder what happen when filming is over, they flush it down toilet bowl??
  14. Atl*ntis is well known for their crap services... they only know how to blow smoke in ur face and charge exorbitant prices. I know of some frens who got a system by them too and seriously the system they help you set up is all rubbish. My fren's fishes dropped like flies over a few months... they cover up for everything by giving aesthetic value but everything else is a death trap... you pay so much but get next to nothing
  15. Wow! Super cool design! i bet its really therapeutic to sit there at night, put on some dim lights and just kick back and relax...
  16. Cheap and reliable, try to leave it overnight if you dun want it to be cloudy. Its not like Tropic Marin where the cloudiness settles much faster, but TM price is abit too ex for me.
  17. Wah... i better not offend you man should be 5 horses lah, not 3 (Wu2 Ma3 Fen1 Si1)
  18. The size of your prata still lots of space to expand, i'd get more rocks to cover up the overflow chamber if i were you..
  19. It could be a combination of all the factors you mentioned... a little of everything added together. Take a step back if you can and try to relax, see a doctor just to be sure. Watever it is, your health comes first...
  20. Yeah, jus bring it near the mouth and place it into the mouth gently when u feed it. It will gobble it up.. also make sure your current isn't too strong.
  21. wah, dunno how come so many copies of my reply. Sorry!
  22. A picture will help, but brains are pretty hardy. Give it some tender care, feed it and dun be itchy fingers, in the proper conditions it will heal. Shouldn't be too big of a problem.
