  1. What's the size and colour? Do you have a picture?
  2. I got mine from AM. Can't remember the price, but definitely below $10. So looks like I am quite lucky to have a pellet feeding FF.
  3. My seagrass ff is currently feeding on Salifert and Spectrum pellets. Does not touch flakes though. Maybe it wasn't "dry food" trained in the 1st place, since I didn't get it from ML. Quite lucky to have it feeding on pellets, can't complain further.
  4. The 101 is supposed to be 3000 ltr/hr. But flow is really gentle (I have to place my palm real close before I can feel it). This could possibly be due to the design to distribute flow in an outspread manner. But I think 3000 ltr is over-rated. Also there seem to be a faint humming sound coming from the pump. But the use of magnet to hold the pump is a neat trick. Price is much cheaper than the other established brands too.
  5. What's the thickness of the tanks' glass?
  6. I am also using a seagrass filefish. Very effective against api. But quite a picky eater. Only eat certain brands of pellets when there are no api around.
  7. Do they fight? I am thinking of adding a powder tang. Currently have a yellow tang, with me for more than 3 years.
  8. I am having problems measuring my salinity of my tank. The readings are different when I collect the water from different locations, e.g. main tank, sump inlet and outlet. Other than the possibility of a faulty meter, are there any other explanations to this?
  9. Anyone knows where I can find Singapore stickers which we paste or paint them on our faces? Do let me know.
  10. The pump is in the tank since day 1 in Dec 2005. Nothing happened until lately. I have had my star for more than 6 months too. That's why I don't quite understand. Maybe there was food that attracted the star. My shrimps live very near by the pump, and the only things that get stuck to the pump is their molted shells.
  11. Frankly, I have no idea how my star got into the seios. I am using it in the original form. I didn't know that the LS could be suck into it. It has never happened. Looks like it's time to re-design the tank and pump placement.
  12. Dear all I just lost a star that went into my Seios pump. Anyone encountered this problem? How do you prevent it?
