Been monitoring temmpature for a week now, range are 27.5 to 28c .Wondering whether its ok to add corals with this temperature cause i dun plan to add chiller or fan.

Just add a Dymax iq protein skimmer to the setup up .With a little modification i manage to place it in my HOF ,Dont want to place it in the tank cause i got limited space. The bubble produced by the skimmer is not so micro , from what i know the smaller the bubbles the better right? and the water level in the skimmer is half full,is it too far for the bubbles to travel up the collection cup?

Wood driven skimmer might not be so effective . Imho

Anyway can monitor for a while.

Assume you just start set up, let it cycled for a couple of weeks, before you add in any livestock

Btw. I suspect your air pump motor need to increase the air out,Think the air driven is not enough.

Yup I thought so too , because the airpump I buy for the skimmer is those cheapo type . Will try install a new stronger air pump, thnks for the tip bro

Yes definately need stronger air pump

IMHO, not a great skimmer, but for the price and size what can you expect :)Mine is still running though
