nice.. i like the 2nd pic.. indeed very rich to feed them FW crayfish... :o

i feed my 3 morays with "haybee", ghost shrimps and sometimes prawns... used to be able to handfeed them but now a bit daunting coz they are abt 1.5-2ft each... me house them in a 4ft tank..

Have a banded moray, 2 snowflakes...

comtemplating to let them go...

Let us work together to preserve the world for our children to inherit by being responsible to our surroundings. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, bubbles and memories.

Hi timzhiquan,

just curious if your eel is blind. Used to have one (sold it, not died) & observed that it hunts with its sense of smell.

Also, i thot it looks more like a snow-flake than a moray...

Morays are not blind....however, they rely more on their sense of smell while hunting. Their acute olfactory sense helps them to sense prey while it is dark..many morays forage during the night. Why do you think parrotfishes sleep in a cocoon of mucus? To prevent the morays from sniffing them out. :D

Always something more important than fish.
