can anyone advise whether it is safe to swith off the PS, UV and use of GAC for 3 days when using Octozin treatment for white spots?

You intend to put this medication in your reef tank? Or you have a treatment tank?

i intend to put this in my tank as the instructions mention that it is reef safe but i have to cease UV, PS and GAC usage for a 3 day treatment. Is that ok not to have the 3 equipment running?

Yes... the skimmer may export the medication out.. the GAC may aborb it and UV may render it useless...

juz follow the instructions given on the octozin packing. switch off PS and UV.

I've been having a persistent itch outbreak in my tank for about 1 month plus already...oh well...nothing died yet. Many thanks to garlic.

depends more on the type of fishes.. not suitable for certain fishes like lions, cowfish (believe boxfishes are under the same cat.), sharks, rays, etc.... gotta be careful with the product.
