I have very bad experience with those macroalgae attached on rock bought from r3b*rn. The last few macroalgae i got from there gave off a very foul smell after a few days in my refugium. I'm not sure whether is it with the quality of their macroalgae on rock or something wrong with my husbandary skills. Wondering if anybody here have same experience. I have not tried buying from other places before.

this caulerpa macroalage is the fern like plant right? :erm:

read that it will go "sexual"? :D:P turn yellow and die?

when it dies, it will release back all that it absorb and also release toxic? if true, how long will this process take and will I have ample time to detect and remove it?

Run your refugium light 24/7. Prune them often.
